Excellent, very clean and lovely staff

So easy to use

The whole place felt safe, and clean - I saw them cleaning like twice a day when I was there. As an added bonus they do a great job facilitating and providing opportunities for solo-travelers to meet up with others

Shower screen did not prevent bathroom floor from getting VERY wet, but other than that, everything was perfect!

Last minute option for the Fringe, reasonably priced considering and pods were nice comfortable and private. Didn't even notice the other 9 folks in the room!

Luggage room very useful. Code lock/entries very good no need to worry about key card. Bed was comfy and roomy enough for me to sit up.

Had a wonderful stay! Right off the Royal Mile, so great for exploring the city centre.

Very close, although an uphill walk, from Prince Street tram stop from airport or Waverly train station. Friendly and helpful staff, great location just off The Royal mile near Edinburgh castle. Clean, pods adequate size, USB ports x 2 and lights in POD, comfortable, communal bathroom just down hallway. Only 2 improvements needed: Luggage storage pre-check in overcrowded with bags and early morning breakfast crew lacking in efficiency. The Only truly frustrating issue I had with the stay was Expedia not prepaying for my stay 12 hours in advance of my arrival, after I had prepaid Expedia months in advance. After a lengthy amount of time on the phone with an Expedia supervisor the issue was successfully resolved.

This was a fantastic place to stay in every way!! We had a private room and absolutely loved it.

The power was on and off for two days and when they were working on it , it was unclear at night how to get to the front door. On the 3rd day the women's washroom was out of order. I did use the shower the day before but unfortunately te soap and shampoo from the other shower drained into mine. The was no compensation offered for the power or bathroom issues. Even a free coffee would have sufficed.

This facility is a most unique establishment, capitalizing on its early history as something other than a hotel and/or hostel. Applying a great sense of humour to the accommodation was also enjoyable.

Excellent place to stay. Keypad lockers included and also luggage lockup after you've checked out. Free walking tour was great!

Loved the feel of this building . Wasn’t sure what to expect but we loved the whole weekend. Check in was easy. Room was amazing . The whole building has a great atmosphere . Excellent central location . All staff we interacted with were polite and welcoming Would absolutely recommend.

The staff were friendly and helpful. As a middle aged female solo traveler I was nervous about using a hostel for the first time. I recommend Code Pod Court. It has perfect location, attentive staff, and the on site restaurant and free activities were a plus.

10/10 stay!! Would 100% recommend! Located in the heart of Edinburgh, just off the royal mile, this hostel provided the perfect stay! The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Check in was quick and easy! I took Advantage of the luggage storage upon arrival, which is free for all guests. The pod itself is a good size, each pod is fitted with a small shelf, a light switch and a usb charging port. They provide free fans and extra pillows can be provided upon request. Towels are £3 to rent and you can keep them for the duration of your stay. The shared bathrooms were cleaned regularly throughly my stay and where always tidy. The showers are amazing! They are super powerful and come with a waterfall shower head! Each pod is allocated a locker to store all your belongings, they are spacious and easy to use. The overall security of the property is great, only people staying are able to enter the rooms as you are given a unique code that gains you entry. Each night there are themed events that are complete free to join which is a great way to meet new people. They have a small restaurant downstairs that offers a variety of food options that are very affordable. There is also a water bottle filling station. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! I will definitely be booking again!!
