great and modern hotel, with lovely bar, restaurant. we upgraded to a deluxe suite and that was very nice with loads of additional space, breakfast was great and hot melas were cooked to order which is always nice, i would happily stay here again

We stayed after our holiday before travelling home to the Highlands. The room was beautiful, plush and had everything you could need. The staff were both professional and polite at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Hotel staff is very nice but the rooms are very dark, insufficient light in the rooms. If you are staying in the old building there are no elevators, one has to climb 30 stairs to get to the room. Didn’t try the restaurant. No comments on the food.

Upgraded to Club deluxe room on arrival. Room had cobwebs hanging everywhere, curtains barely closed, A/C or fans in toilet absolutely stunk the room out - was even a little air freshener hidden on the back of the shelf under the sink.
Complained at reception and cost of upgrade was removed to be fair to staff on desk.
The rest is as you’d expect of Malmaison. The hotel is maybe looking a little tired.

Just home from a great stay in this hotel where the stars of the show are the staff. Reception staff (especially Hayden) were a delight, and the cocktails in the bar were phenomenal thanks to the expert skills of Darren the bartender! We love Glasgow and will be back
