SLS Barcelona

Beautiful hotel, but definitely not a 5-star experience. While the hotel itself is gorgeous, the service is a massive letdown. The breakfast is highly stressful due to a lack of space, broken coffee machines, and illogical food layouts. Room amenities were consistently lacking (like missing spoons every morning for coffee/tea). Also all the floor tiles was loose on the balcony barley stuck down and no grout in them...this was same also for kyara bar all tiles on the outside was just wobbly and loose...not great....For my birthday, we ordered a small cake that cost €55 but turned out to be nothing more than a hollow chocolate filled with whipped cream...not a cake!! delivered with a single small plate for the two of us., the staff's attitude was poor. After our drinks were knocked over by a heavy gust of wind while we were in the pool, as we was getting out the one of the staff was half way through cleaning it up...just walked off and like it didn't happen. When we asked the bar for a replacement, they were very hesitant we had only one sip before getting into the pool.., and the cleaner actually lied and denied seeing the accident. The location has limited variety (shisha bars), and the 5-star rating is extremely confusing. It functions more like a 3-star service in a pretty building. We enjoyed our holiday and would go back, just not with the high expectations we originally had this time...

SLS Barcelona 10’s across the board!! What an amazing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived until the time I left. From the birthday surprise to the continental breakfast and complimentary suite upgrade, the hospitality was top notch! If you’re ever in Barcelona, stay at SLS Barcelona.

Excellent hotel with amazing amenities

The room was amazing. Great breakfast. The area of the hotel is ok.

This is our first time in Barcelona. We selected SLS based solely upon the reviews. This place did NOT disappoint. Amazingly well appointed. Top tier quality. Technology is integrated in every nuance. My wife and I travel for pleasure, frequently. She and I agreed that SLS is one of the nicest stays we’ve ever had. First floor had a club type vibe upon entry. Lots of travelers enjoying drinks and socializing. Our room was very nice. Premium touches were throughout. Impressed. Would highly recommend. The hotel manager took time, herself, to assist with our luggage - Unexpected, yet shows the level of commitment SLS has to providing an excellent experience.

Beautiful property close to the marina

The biggest complaint we had was ice. The room was provided with an ice bucket but there is nowhere in the building to get ice. They want you to call room service for ice and then pay the fee for room service staff to deliver the ice. When you have to request ice multiple times it get very inconvenient and expensive. Our room phone had to be replaced which took two days to do because it was not operational and we had to walk to the lobby every time we needed something. The thermostat was inoperable which made conditions in the room uncomfortable at night when you want the room cooler. There was no soap available near the sink either. Other than that, the staff was very kind and helpful during our stay.

Just book it if you can. Access to the beach was amazing!!

Bar - excessive usage of ice in cocktails ultimately dilutes the taste of the drink. Use lees

Although the location is not in the city center we enjoyed coming back to our room each night to the views of the tranquil sea. The rooms were well equipped with a king bed and beautiful terrace. The staff was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed starting our day at Lora’s coffee bar in the hotel lobby.

The room is huge with modern deco and great ocean and harbor view. Hotel gave us plenty of water and coffee every day and free bottle of wine too. Room is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended if you don’t mind 15 min drive to city center or other tourist attractions.

Water temperature in shower wasn’t staying constant,( constantly fluctuating from warm to cool). Rooms were lovely but so small and very little room for luggage….i had my suitcase on floor beside the door.

The room was immaculately clean every day.When the staff walk past by us always greeted with warm welcome.We couldn't get time to use breakfast and bar.Yes, once when we used swimming pool my kid really had fun. An entire ambience of the hotel was the great and made us feel come back again.20 mins walk from hotel to playarea ( varieties) for growing kids in open air will be benefitted.I suggest SLS hotel drowned in angle of 360 positivity for all kinds of lifestyle.

Everyone very nice and super helpful

Great staff, lovely atmosphere and the spa was fantastic.

The room was very clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Room had air conditioning also. Right be the sea and our room overlooked the marina. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautiful property. Area not the best

The hotel was very nice and clean. Room was spacious. It’s a mall up the street and a train station nearby which was a 15min walk. The pool was closed but I did see people getting in. The only thing I hated was, they had a mini bar for candy in the room and the fridge was full with drinks which stopped me from putting my own items up. We couldn’t use the microwave for outside food. Other than that, it was a nice vibe. Also kind of close to the airport.

We did not look for shops so don't know if any nearby. The ac worked great! The bar tenders are very nice and personable, as well as the bell staff! They are so nice and love to talk! The check in and out staff were great as well. This is a new hotel 1 yr. old. It has all the amenities you would want. I highly recommend this hotel!
