Room was nicely decorated, quite small not much room around the bed. There was a chair which made it difficult to maneuver around the one side of the bed. Bathroom clean & nice toiletries. Room was hot a/c didn’t seem to work. Bar & Bistro areas were lovely. Location great for walking around the city or getting to the station.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Royal. From the moment I walked in, the experience was exceptional. I was warmly greeted with a genuine smile by Dimitri, who immediately made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. Within minutes, everything was already taken care of — he had sent the bellboy to my car to retrieve our luggage, which was such a thoughtful and efficient touch. As a VIP Expedia member, he also kindly upgraded me to a huge suite, which was an incredible surprise. The suite was stunning, featuring one of the most beautiful bathrooms I’ve seen, a private balcony with a lovely city view, and even a glimpse of the mountains in the distance. It truly made the stay feel extra special. The excellent service didn’t stop there — the staff at the restaurant and bar were also extremely kind and attentive, making every interaction pleasant. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my stay. The combination of warm hospitality, thoughtful service, and beautiful accommodations made this a memorable experience in Geneva. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Room was well proportioned and clean. Big bathroom with nice toiletries. Dressing gowns and slippers included. Plenty of tea and coffee. I did book a room with three single beds. This wasn’t available. So ended up with a double bed and a double sofa bed which took up most of the room space and I had to share a bed with my daughter. Not what we planned. Well placed for Cornavin and Pâquis-Môle. Tram stop literally outside and Lidl right downstairs if required

Location is very convenient as few minutes walk from main station hub and trams was right in front of the hotel. Room was cleaned but bathroom fixtures are outdated. Didn’t try breakfast but Bar is good open till late.

All the staff were warm, pleasant and efficient. We had an issue with a noisy neighbour room and it was dealt with immediately, and with a follow-up. A Nespresso coffee maker was offered and delivered to the room when we saw those pods in the housekeeping trolley. Breakfast was good, usual fare for a 4 star hotel, and many options.

Wonderful hotel, excellent and efficient staff in the traditional Swiss manner: calm, unfussy hospitality. Remarkable location, if you're lucky with the train to the airport it's half an hour door-to-door, with the lake 10 minutes walk and a real array of Geneva's cosmopolitan restaurants in less time than it takes to order!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Royal in Geneva. The location is convenient, just steps from the main train station (Cornavin), and we loved the free public transport card that covered rides all the way to the airport, super handy for arrivals and early departures. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with high-quality bedding and nice robes that made relaxing easy. The front desk team was exceptionally helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for two more nights after our ski trip in the Alps. It was the perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and great value
