The staff here are very good service, the car comes to park in front of the school, there is an employee to pick up the luggage, welcome them to the lobby. Even though there are very few people around during COVID, many places around are closed. The school also takes good care of it. I like the atmosphere on the beach, the area of the school has seats to enjoy the view. There is a place to take beautiful pictures, clean rooms, facilities are okay, impressed. Next opportunity may be new, thank you ^^

It’s funny when you are in Samui you don’t want to spent too much time in your room, so why bother with a nice hotel?
You will be happy you decided to stay here, the room is spacious with a massive bathroom (equal size to the bedroom) with a deep bath and large bench space for toiletries and makeup.
Then you venture to the back of the hotel for a relaxed breakfast with a menu that varies daily overlooking the spectacular pool and ocean front. Enhancing the tranquil environment the pool is surrounded by waterfall, frangepani trees and day beds for relaxing and of course the bar.

We loved this place. Resort is not too big. Great location and on the best part of the beach. Breakfast was great. Would have been nice to be on the upper floor to get at least some view. Deck furniture wasn’t very comfortable, but the entire resort was great.

Room was nice, cleaned well daily, good airconditioning. Pool area very tight; hardly any pool deck, few lounges — not as it looks in the pictures. Breakfast was good. Area of Chaweng beach is shabby— doesn’t feel like an island getaway.

Staff were very welcoming. Property is in a great place in Chaweng- on beach and close to Main Street. The service was good but hotel is a little dated and could do with newer towels and sun loungers. Shower was a bit old fashioned but ok. Breakfast was ok. The hotel landscaping is really pretty but the best thing about the hotel is the attentiveness of the staff who really want to help

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, right on the beach. We ate lunch on several occasions, there was plenty of choice on the menu, the food was great and not expensive.

We were very pleased with our stay at Dara Samui. It is clean, the breakfast is incredible and ample, and the staff is second to none. Chaweng Beach (the street area) wasn’t my taste, but there are a lot of restaurants and bars. It’s great, it’s just not my speed. That said, when you get to the beach at Dara Samui, you can’t hear the noise of the street at all. What made the experience so fantastic was the staff. High praise to them!!

The hotel itself is absolutely fine. The room was clean, the bathroom was large and clean with all the standard amenities. Two complimentary water bottles per day and a mini fridge (with fee for items). The included breakfast buffet is large with good variety. Every staff I encountered was helpful and friendly. Really wonderful people.
However, there isn't really a beach there. Technically speaking, it is waterfront, with a small strip of sand when the tide is low. I wouldn't call that a beach, there are actual beaches on the island. Also, the area on the street surrounding the hotel is peak Chewang, loud, noisy, dirty sidewalks and rude shirtless tourists walking around. If you want to be in the middle of bars, restaurants and massage parlors, then this location would be excellent. If you want beach, peace and tranquility, then this place isn't for you.

the hotel was spotlessly clean. the staff were so helpful you only had to ask and they delivered, close to all shops and entertainment and restaurant - perfect location as you were not in the middle of the busy bustling road but towards to the end but still in the mist of everything. so it was nice and quiet to go to sleep. fantastic holiday loved it.

Exceptional room. Exceptional breakfast. Exceptional and lovely staff.
Ideal central Chaweng location, and on the beach.
Only downside for me was that the pool beach bar area was a bit too congested, too crowded - the tide was often unusually high during my stay so they could not have sunbeds on the beach as I think they usually would, so this restricted the space available.
I would like to think I’ll be able to stay again.
