Quasimodo, the bells, the bells.
i would have given it a rating of 4 (very good) had it not been for the fire bell which went off several times over the night. The first couple of times I called reception to make sure there was no fire, but they said someone was smoking in their room which was setting off the alarm but they were unable to determine which room it was, which didn't instil me with much confidence in the case of a real fire.
Other than that, the place is overtly modern, which is not a bad thing. Our room was unusual, all pinewood, with a washbasin in the bedroom itself. It was spacious enough. Curtains didn't quite cover the window.
Not a great location either, but the hotel itself was good, breakfast was good enough, though our fellow breakfasters were almost entirely Thai couples, none of which looked much over 20 and as parents with kids, we wondered if their parents knew where they were.
