Our family trip to Movenpick Phan Thiet was truly unforgettable. The resort's beachfront location provided stunning views and easy access to the pristine beach, perfect for both relaxation and fun water activities. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, offering a comfortable and luxurious stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. We especially enjoyed the diverse dining options, with delicious meals that catered to both local and international tastes. The kids loved the dedicated play areas and activities, giving us parents some much-needed downtime. Overall, Movenpick Phan Thiet exceeded our expectations, making it a perfect destination for a family getaway.

The resort is very beautiful. Check in and check out only takes 1 minute. The space in the resort is always fragrant. All staff are enthusiastic. Especially the swimming pool rescue team works very hard. Suitable for families with children to relax.

The staff were enthusiastic and friendly, but their uniforms weren't very nice. They had delicious chocolate afternoon tea, but the breakfast buffet had few options and the seasoning wasn't great. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, but very dark. There were separate pools for adults and children, but not many play areas for kids.

The location is a bit far from the city center, and the road to the center is dark and relatively deserted. However, the outdoor space and activities are quite suitable for children. The children's play area is too small; it gets quite crowded on holidays with many children and there are few games available.

- I'm deducting 2 stars because of the terrible attitude and incredibly condescending and dismissive way the receptionist spoke. Simply put, on my first day, my room didn't have hot water, so I called down to ask. - The first time, the receptionist asked me: "Have you turned on the hot water yet?" I thought: "I've been to so many hotels around the world, surely I know how to turn on the hot and cold water?" I wouldn't call the receptionist if there was a real problem. - After lunch, I called again, and the receptionist sent someone up to handle it. The person who came up to handle it also had a harsh and unfriendly attitude, deducting another star for them. Simply put, they went in, turned on the water for over 5 minutes, adjusted the hot and cold settings, and then said to me: "I've already adjusted it. Let me go downstairs and adjust it again." At this point, I thought: "Ahhh, it'll probably be okay." But no, I waited and waited all night and the water still wasn't hot, so the next morning I decided to go straight down to the reception desk to talk to them for convenience. While I was there, I also asked why I booked two rooms with sea views but only got rooftop views, with no sea view at all. I politely asked: "Excuse me, why did I book two rooms with sea views but all I can see is the rooftop?" At this point, the receptionist was still in a good mood and replied: "Sir, the room category you booked only allows you to stay on the 5th or 6th floor." I replied: "Okay, I understand, but at least it should be on the 5th or 6th floor. Right now I'm on the 3rd floor and all I can see is the rooftop and not a single bit of sea view." Then she checked something on the computer and came back up to say: "Okay, we'll change it for you. The new room will probably be available after 12 noon." I replied: "Okay, no problem, I'll go get something to eat and then change rooms." Then she asked me, "Do you need any further assistance?" - And here's the "international 5-star" attitude of the Movenpick Phan Thiet receptionist. I asked the receptionist, "Excuse me, why is there still no hot water in my room and my parents' room?" She asked me, "Sir, we've already sent staff up to handle this, haven't we?" I calmly replied, "Yes, they did go up and said they would come down to fix something, but there was no hot water all day and all night. It's fine for adults, but my family has a 7-month-old baby, so we need hot water for bathing, washing bottles, etc." - The receptionist's attitude changed completely, and she asked me, "Sir, is it that there's no hot water or that the water isn't hot enough to your liking?" - Did you all read carefully??? => "Sir, is it that there's no hot water or that the water isn't hot enough to your liking?" <= That's the attitude of a hotel receptionist at a "5-star international standard" hotel. They're being sarcastic and contemptuous towards customers. And yet they call it "5-star standard" :))) - I'm deducting another star for the first day I checked in because the baggage handler had a terrible and extremely impolite attitude towards my mother. When we got to the room, my mother asked the baggage handler: "Hey, why are the lights in this room so dim?" The handler immediately retorted: "It's just dim here," in an unpleasant tone and with an extremely impolite attitude. See... also a "5-star" employee... - 5 stars minus 4 stars equals 1 star. Why? Simply because the room is spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-soundproofed. The breakfast at the restaurant was okay, and the staff were lovely, especially the manager who was very considerate. Unlike those receptionists and baggage handlers who were so rude when we first entered the hotel. - Note: The hotel has two electric carts parked nearby but refused to take guests to the beach. Other truly 4-5 star hotels would proactively ask guests for rides, not wait for them to ask. In general, the reception and baggage handling staff were terrible, and their attitude was completely unworthy of the "international 5-star standard" claim. - In short: Extremely disappointed, a waste of money, and utterly disgusted with the staff's attitude.

The resort is very quiet and about a 25-minute drive from Phan Thiết City, with not much around. The location is acceptable if you’re staying mainly for a golf trip at NovaWorld, otherwise it feels quite isolated. There are a few local seafood restaurants nearby, but they were mostly empty, and there’s no convenience store close to the hotel. Rooms and facilities are good, and the pool and playground were enjoyable for kids. There is a kids club, but activities and toys were quite minimal. Cooking and painting classes are available but require extra payment. Service was okay, though I’ve experienced better service at less luxurious local hotels. Food was average — the beef burger was quite dry. Breakfast was a bit disappointing for a hotel at this level. The selection wasn’t great, and overall quality felt below expectations. Some of the best breakfasts I’ve had in Vietnam were at Vinpearl and Melia resorts, which offered much better variety and quality. Overall, a comfortable stay for families who want a quiet resort, but expectations should be managed.

If I come back to Movepick Phan Thiet, I definitely will. The food is not very diverse but the taste is ok, the cakes are delicious. The location is a bit far from the center, but if you can arrange a schedule to stay here for a complete vacation, it's ok, surrounded by Novaland's amusement parks/parks so it's also very interesting. The security guards are very enthusiastic and cute, and they also know how to take pictures, 10 points for them. The design is beautiful, I like the swimming pool area the most, beautiful and clean.

We have been to quite a few 4-5 star resorts from Vung Tau - Nha Trang - Da Nang but this is probably the worst one we have ever been to. In general, we are not satisfied with all aspects from service to food, it is not worthy and cannot be compared to any resort. Apart from the beautiful view at the swimming pool and the unique design, there is nothing special. When we first arrived and had not gotten off the car, the manager yelled at the security guard when he told the car to move back a bit. It made me feel like he was being yelled at because of me. From the check-in to the check-in, the customer experience was very bad, it felt like I was in a 3-star hotel which would have been better. The staff introduced themselves very hastily. The breakfast had many dishes but was bad.... in summary, I will never come back.

Friendly, cheerful and enthusiastic staff. Clean and airy rooms. Comfortable space. Delicious and varied breakfast.

The service staff is extremely boring. I have experienced many 5-star hotels and I have never received service like this. I hope the hotel improves the quality of service staff.
