located in the south of Phuket; about 19 km away from Phuket Town and about 2 km away from Rawai Beach. It is one of the most beautiful sunset viewpoints in Thailand. The top of Promthep Cape is a high cliff by the sea that creates the spectacular view. Palm trees line up along the cliff continuously until the end of the cape at a large rock. You can see Nai Harn Beach on the right and the clear blue sea until the end of you sight. It is considered one of the romantic spots for those who visit. You have not been to Phuket if you do not come to this place.
Located in the center of Phuket Island with remarkable Sino-Portuguese style buildings influenced by Westerners who came to trade in Phuket in the reign of King Rama V. It was a former Chinese Language School in Phuket with beautiful old Sino-Portuguese style building in the heart of the city that has already changed into a museum telling the story of Chinese ancestry that came across the sea who firstly settled in Phuket Island. Patong Beach is the most famous 4-km white fine sand beach on Phuket Island with turquoise sea water. The beach is full of tourists all year long. After leaving the belonging in the room, I head to Mai Khao beach near Phuket Airport. Besides its cleanliness, you can take a photo with turquoise sea and white sand beach background plus A PLANE! Literally the plane is landing so it is considered as an amazing unseen photo spot! After that, you have to try the local noodle with crab curry at Kanomjean Saphan hin restaurant. It is small but very good considering the big crab and tasty soup with an affordable price.
Once you are done with the food, let’s go somewhere very touristy like Kata beach because this is the symbol of Phuket that has a white sand beach and clear blue sea together with palm trees along the beach. So you can either walking by the beach or enjoying water activities.
At the end of the day, watching sunset at Promthep Cape is

Now that you’re in the Pearl of Andaman, of course diving is a must, or else you are not completing the trip! Here is a one day trip not far away from the coast but you will be amazed by the beauty of the sea. These are the 2 islands that are safe from storms and waves so you can enjoy Ha Island and Racha Island for the whole year within 10 km distance from the main island and it takes only 1 hour. It is an area with clear sea water and a shallow beautiful coral. You can also take a snorkeling tour and other water activities, or you can just sit down and enjoy the sun to get a good view of the white sand of the sea.
If you come back from a snorkeling trip in the day and still feel energetic, we recommend going out for a stroll and looking for a tasty food together with shopping at night. If it's Sunday night, I can not miss the Laad Yai or Phuket Walking street. If it is Wednesday to Friday, we recommend Phuket Indy Market. If you come in the other days, do not regret it because there is also a G market and Chillva Market. In the morning, starting with paying respect to the Phra Mahathat Chedi at Wat Chalong, the old sacred temple of Phuket for a long time. This place is famous for sacred stories about health blessing – how can we not come to this place right?
After the temple, we may be hungry a little so we can go to have snack break at SR Tae Tiam Sapha Coffee Shop. Its Tae Tiam or Dim Sum is the must try! Plenty of selection and cost only 25 THB per dish.
Once we finish, we can take a walk in the Phuket Old Town and relax by visiting coffee shops or bakeries along the way and learn history from Thai Hua Museum because it is located nearby so it is worth spending a little time to gain more knowledge and to get a lot of cool pictures!
Now that it is midday, we need a strong lunch before saying goodbye to Phuket and heading back home so One Chun restaurant on Thep-Kasat-Tree road with its Phuket favourite dishes such as Spicy Pork Curry, Crab Curry with Cha Plu leaves, Shrimp Paste and fried Liang leaves with eggs can definitely help you full. The vintage theme and comfortable atmosphere get along with the old town area very well.
If you have enough time before arriving Phuket airport, try visiting Wat Phra Thong or Phra Phut Temple where is only 10 km away from the airport. Paying respect to Phra Phut; The Buddha that just came off only the upper half body from the ground however it is very old and maintain its sacred for a long time since the hundreds of years ago when Burmese army came to attack Muang Thalang!
