Cuttle Bridge Inn Hotel

first following a nightmare drive to hotel due to HS2 work around Birmingham I arrived to find the booking was for the following day, I admit I should've double checked but certain I originally put as planed 8th as my night there however when I arrived receptionist who was very nice explained they were full for the night and in fact full for most of week, felt no issue with me cancelling as they would fill room, I left hotel could not find accommodation so went back home a 140 mile journey, I tried and better tried to get through to you and was totally unable some should register on your system but kept saying link lost, so now lost as the whole trip was ruined and have been a customer of yours for many years, i have done a basic review as the only thing positive was the receptionest.

Very nice but breakfast didn't start till 8 it should have been a bit earlier as i had to leave 07.15

Rooms are freezing and heater is too small for the room. Bathroom door didn’t even close or lock, Bed was too soft for my preference but sleep ok

The staff were nice , it served its purpose , could do with new carpets in the room as filthy and carpets were old around so it looked scruffy . Breakfast was nice , didn’t think it was necessary to charge £10 to stay in their hotel car park since it was in the middle of nowhere . It’s an ok hotel , it was fine for a few nights . Think it’s a little overpriced

It was a discusting hotel, with so many things wrong, I contracted food poisoning on the first night, the bed was awful with springs coming through, the room was tired the carpet had iron burns on it, parking was not advertised as payment on arrival at £5per night, bloody awful

Room Was drafty and cold with leaky windows very noisy all night with wedding function and people banging doors till 2am Reception didn’t have an additional blanket and duvets thin electric storage heater poor

No one to check us in or out on reception Room comfortable & clean Parking £10 unreasonable when staying at property

Was very friendly and for price we got what we paid for sleeping next to motorway not great. Food was lovely tho

Checkin staff were very helpful and pleasant. Room was warm, clean and comfortable.

The disrepair of the room was awful. Rusty bathroom fittings, tiles falling off the wall, holes in the wall, dirty floors and thich dust on top of the headboard. Worst of all the mattres was so old you could feel the springs. I woke in pain from the mattress constantly through the night

Very poor and dangerous room Bed so uncomfortable and could not sleep. Pillows are so hard it’s ridiculous. Water was dripping from the light fitting in the bathroom. This is positively dangerous and from the marks on the ceiling it was not the first time. The room was very cold when we arrived and no effort made to make the stay comfortable for guests coming in. Restaurant and bar staff were friendly and the room is nice. This is in complete contrast to the awful state of the room. This needs sorting as totally not acceptable.

The room was cold and the mattress was one of the worst I have ever slept on I was there on a professional capacity as was looking for a regular stay for our engineers from France to stay when working in the Uk

It is a decent place but definitely needs an upgrade or refurb as it’s old fashioned and well worn. Very noisy on the roadside section of the hotel and with people talking in the car park up until gone midnight wasn’t great. Plenty of on site parking. Breakfast was limited and nobody around to order any fresh food. As I say it was OK.

Put room first no heat wasn’t working . Then had change us to another room was bigger room was not clean then morning no electricity couldn’t get a shower

I could hear every step that the guest in the room above me was making, the floors creaked very loudly, which disturbed my night sleep tremendously The rooms are tired and basic. The food in the restaurant is overpriced. A very mediocre beef burger was £18.
