Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size, very clean and comfortable - the only downside is there was only one spare pillow and we’d have liked two. Complementary breakfast was great with more choice than expected. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good base in Shoreditch

Unfortunately the lift was not working and even though I was given a first floor room, breakfast was then two long flights down in the basement. I appreciate it was beyond their control and it broke just before my stay. That is why I have marked my stay as a 4. Also there were minor lacks of repair - a loose tie back fell off the wall for example.

We had a really lovely stay at the Shoreditch Inn. The staff were very pleasant. The room was clean and there was a lovely coffee machine with parts on the side. The only thing was the pillows were really uncomfortable and the room was too hot and we couldn’t turn it down Apart from that a perfect find would definitely stay there again but take my own pillow

I couldn’t get into the property to check in and had to wait outside for over 20mins only for another guest to let me in as nobody on reception plus nobody was on front desk to even answer the door bell or landline when I rang it. Given I had travelled all day and arrived at 10pm I find this totally unacceptable

Hotel public areas smell nice. Staff are so friendly and helpful in this hotel including the breakfast chef. I had a query and looked at changing date and hotel were so helpful unlike Expedia! The hotel room was clean and spacious with comfortable bed, pillows & lovely white sheets. Nice toiletries & good tea & coffee aswell as bottles water in fridge. Continental Breakfast was excellent and very fresh & set us up for the day. Thank you all for a lovely stay.

Thank you! Shoreditch Inn is right next to a churchyard and small park area and our room overlooked this which was very pretty in the spring sunshine. We enjoyed our stay with the thoughtful extra touches of water in the cooler and tea/coffee making facilities. The staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful.

Aside from the great location and strong water pressure in the shower, there was nothing good about the stay. Yes it's a budget-friendly hotel, but it's clear that absolutely everything in the room is the cheapest available, especially the bed and pillows. We had 2 awful nights of sleep and usually are good sleepers. The breakfast is rationed (eg. 1 piece per person) so we didn't bother, and we were shocked at how unsustainable the property is with no consideration for eco-friendly alternatives. Give yourself a better visit to London by booking into a Premier Inn or Travelodge which will cost you the same amount but with far more comfort. We won't be returning.
