The lady is extremely lovely. At first I just booked because it seemed quite close to the old town, but we were completely satisfied with this place. The basket is extremely lovely, the room is spacious and comfortable and of course very beautiful. The layout is quite friendly and evokes the feeling of the old town. This is a trip that doesn't cost anything.

romantic
We were here earlier this month on our honeymoon trip. Room was spacious while nicely decorated with lots of roses and a surprised happy honeymoon cake from Koi, we’re heartily appreciated. Even though it’s rainy and wet, we decided to scroll around and enjoy the beauty of the resort during our special time here. Dining was also at ease, lovely pool view with reasonable tasty local dishes. A great shout out to every staff who all remained attentive, smiley and service minded til the the time we left. And especially Ms. Trang Phan - the professional Front Office Manager who extended a warm welcome to us at arrival then made sure our stay to be nothing short of perfection. Her dedicated hospitality is indeed a great highlight of our memorable time in Hoi An! Way to go Ms. Trang and Koi’s Team.

Lovely and great hotel experience. May, our front desk, was very smiley, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay. Every single thing was precisely done, and they ensured our needs had been met throughout. The spa experience was really good too. Do check them out as they have plenty of spa options, and for in-house guests, there's a discount which was very helpful. Overall, we truly had a great time there and are definitely looking to come back to Hoi An again 😊

More about hotels in Hoi An

Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in central Vietnam, is a charming town known for its well-preserved ancient architecture, vibrant lanterns, and rich cultural heritage. Often referred to as the "City of Lanterns," Hoi An offers a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Whether you're strolling along the historic Old Town, cycling through the countryside, or relaxing on the beaches, Hoi An is an ideal destination for all types of travelers. This guide will help you find the perfect hotel in Hoi An, explore the best areas to stay, and discover the town’s top attractions, food, and tips for a memorable trip.

History of Hoi An

Hoi An has a long and fascinating history that dates back over 2,000 years. Originally a bustling port city known as Faifo, it was an important trading hub for Chinese, Japanese, and European merchants between the 15th and 19th centuries. The town’s architecture reflects its multicultural past, blending Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, and French influences.

In the 19th century, Hoi An’s prominence as a trading port declined due to the silting of its waterways and the rise of nearby Da Nang. However, its historic significance and charm remained intact, making it one of Vietnam’s most iconic destinations. Today, Hoi An is celebrated for its beautifully preserved Old Town, vibrant culture, and welcoming atmosphere.
