Unizo Inn was a nice stay while my girlfriend and I were in Nagoya for one night. Compared to the other hotels we stayed in, the hotel space itself was pretty small with just enough room to walk through. The service was great, and we were able to get by in English. The hotel itself looks aged a little bit, but for what we needed as a place to stay between Osaka and Tokyo, it did the job just fine. It's nice because it was quite close to Sakae station, Sekai no Yamachan, and Oasis 21.

Been traveling japan for a few weeks many hotels, and its the first hotel that we are not very happy with. We come in around 10 pm, rude staff and not welcoming... Had to do laundry, they tell us where and sell us soap. Defective dryer, ended up spending 1000 yen on dryer that didnt dry anything even after 4 times on 1 load. Went to front desk and told them about it, and that we lost money and doesnt work... They didnt care that we lost money. They said they would dry it for us because it was now 2am. Next morning go to pickup laundry, still not very dry. Breakfast is not worth it. I dont recommend to anyone, unless there nothing else around.

Room was small and dull, facilities were mostly old and outdated. Room seemed a little dirty, especially the carpet which had made my skin itchy once in contact. Room was also stuffy with no way to control the aircon, other than changing the wind strength. Had to open the windows for ventilation and even then, cigarette smoke came in. Overall, disappointing experience even though the location was good and the staff were friendly, pleasant and professional.

Normal Japanese business hotel. I was upgraded, but considering the price of the room was reduced by 50% on the day I checked in, it didn't really feel like an upgrade. When I asked for some ice, I was told to go buy it at the nearby convenience store.... Breakfast is outsourced to nearby restaurant and there is only a very traditional Japanese selection, which is also very limited, You must choose between a coffee and an orange juice and cannot have both. My coffee was served in a cup which had lipstick on it... Staff at restaurant was rude, so overall very disappointing.

Stayed at UNIZO Inn before. Although the room is small, it has everything you need. Location is very decent. Close to Sakae and Sakae Station. Eateries close by.
