Novotel New Plymouth Taranaki

The property was conveniently located at the centre of the city. Good customer service from all staff. The room was clean and tidy. They allow late check-outs (depending on room availability). Overall, good place to stay in New Plymouth.

Briliant place to stay in New Plymouth. Great location. Friendly staff

central location , easy to get around . only the Entry and exit from hotel property is bit off the mark to add into the parking . in-room dining was good . room spacious , needed to have more bells and whistle in room in terms of refreshments , drinks , milk for tea coffee .

Everything was great specially the chosen brand of soap. Would be great if there was a minibar ☺️ it was empty and some saucer and complimentary water. The little was so tiny and old 😕

Amazing hôtel / easy free parking options / great restaurant / incredible breakfeast

We drove to New Plymouth, on checking in we were told parking onsite would be an additional $20 per day. Last time we stayed there parking was free!!!! Secure parking onsite is part of staying in the hotel we thought. We got back late, no one answered the night bell to let us in and the swipe card to enter didn’t work. Had to phone them to let me in

A clean, modern facility with welcoming staff. The only downside is the hotel is located on a one way street which makes it difficult to access but this wouldn’t put us off staying here again.

This was an amazing hotel!! Absolutely everything about it was perfect. Highly recommend!

Great central location within walking distrance to a lot of cafes and things to see and do. Also the staff were really friendly, professional and super helpful. Especially Celia (and another young lady) who helped us with a ribbon hold punch for a gift.

This hotel was pretty average. Rooms a little tight. Window views the parking lot. Had dinner at hotels restaurant. Lamb was excellent. Hotel parking wasn't very good. Shuttle buses blocked the entrance. No valet parking. Instructed to park across a busy street and remove my car by 8 o'clock next morning. Their were Tesla charging stations.

All the staff there, we found to be so friendly, efficient and very helpful. Thank you to the chefs in the bistro bar for the delicious meals. Steaks cooked to perfection. Clean premises and guest room. Carpet in our room, although clean, looked a bit worn and also the single chair in our room, the material was frayed at the armrest. However, the amazing staff there, made the experience 10/10.

Lovely accommodation. Glad there was air con in the room, as the hallways were so hot and stuffy. Did have an issue with parking. I requested parking (via an upgrade email and at a discounted rate) and was emailed to confirm my request and to enquire about the status during check in. When I was checking in they informed me that I was emailed to say that request was declined. I said I never received an email but I would still need parking. They said they can give us parking and I had to ask that it was at the discounted rate. There was never an issue with finding an available car park each day/night so I'm unsure why the original request was declined. The hotel is next to a main road so getting the car in and out of the car park was sometimes a struggle. Staff were lovely. The restaurant was amazing!

Handy to town and restaurants and very comfortable

An attractive building close to the city centre.Accessible but limited free parking. Staff were friendly,welcoming and approachable.we were disappointed with the a la carte breakfast.We ordered poached eggs on toast and received fried eggs on warm bread .

Great property

Great place, room was sized perfect. I used the gym, a little small but had sufficient equipment. The hotel is at a higher rate so i was surprised that they charged a separate fee for covered parking. The outside free parks were taken by staff or you could park down the road on the street away from the hotel, a little inconvenient.

Lovely place to stay, my only negative was having to pay extra for parking.
