Hampton Inn and Suites San Juan

We had roaches in our room, which we killed and left in tissues for the staff to see. We reported it to the front desk and they offered to change my room, but if they’re in one room, they have to be in every room so we did not move. We had to make sure everything was sealed so no roaches got in our suitcases.One was even on our bed! It was hard to have a good night sleep for fear of roaches coming out. We slept with every light on in the room all three nights! Crazy. Front desk staff was nice, room cleaners had attitudes. We will never stay there again.

Spent a couple days. Accommodation was ok. Convenient location. Friendly and helpful staff!

Clean hotel, comfy rooms, pleasant personnel

We stayed for only a few nights but over all great area. Things are close especially to the airport. Only thing room wasnt cleaned the nights we stayed. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper. Other than that it was great.

Beds were good and pillows.

The beach was super close within walking distance there were plenty of restaurants you can walk to Transportation was easy to get with Uber or Lyft everyone was helpful

We got a good package: breakfast and happy hour included. Can’t complain. The bedroom was very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They don’t clean the bedroom every day unless you request it. However, they accommodate your needs as soon as you ask for anything. Kenny and Jorge at the front desk are both wonderful and helpful. Restaurants in the area: Hijole, Chili’s, Metropol, Denny’s.

The Staff was amazing, because of them I will definitely be returning! They went above and beyond!!! Beach is in walking distance and it's absolutely beautiful!! The food in the area was so good and walkable which is a bonus! Also the included breakfast was way better than most. Very close to everything and we used uber the whole time. Try Lupi's across the street while you are there, as you can tell im a foodie and that place has great food your taste buds wont be disappointed!! (Try the puerto rican burrito). Very nice pool with a swim up bar that serves food for those days you are trying to relax. Can't wait to go back already!

AMAZING STAY. I can not say enough wonderful things about this property. It was my mom and I’s first time ever visiting Puerto Rico, and upon booking we really loved how close this hotel is to the airport. It was very easy to get a taxi from the airport to this hotel, and there is a bus stop right next to the hotel that takes you back when your stay is through! The staff here are so friendly and helpful, they checked us in early, made sure we had everything we needed, and even held our bags for us at the end of our stay because check out was hours before our flight, amazing!! The Hampton Inn Beach Club was the star of the show for us though- the hotel gives you passes for the beach for each day of your stay, you take them to the beach across the street, and nice employees on the beach set up your chairs & umbrellas. Not having to carry much to the beach on a vacation is the best. The included breakfast every morning is wonderful too- the staff keep everything super clean, they are dancing around and super high energy, we loved talking to all of them. The included happy hour drinks and snacks every night were amazing too. Book this stay!!! It’s 100000% worth it. The area surrounding this hotel is super safe! We had no issues walking around during the day or at night. The Sabao cafe next door is a MUST visit by the way.

Overall, a good stay. Room was clean, pool area clean, standard free breakfast. I didn’t appreciate my delayed 3 hour room availability. I checked in at the hotel at 3:30pm, knowingly I was early to their listed check-in time of 4pm. I anticipated having to wait but not 3 hours. I was told that my room was not available but I was welcome to use the pool area and enjoy happy hour from 5-7pm for free food and drinks. When I asked about how long for the room, the employee answered he wasn’t sure and didn’t have an estimated time. I was called by front desk at 6:30pm to obtain my room key. Luckily, I wasn’t in a rush to attend anything that day but I do see this as a major inconvenience. Also the “free food” for happy hours was popcorn. I didn’t see the point of the $50/night additional resort fee.

other than planes taking off noise. This place was excellent would stay again.

Pleasant staff

Great hotel close to airport, beach and restaurants. Very spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Great breakfast options.
