Radisson Blu Hotel Zurich Airport

Haben spätabends (23:00) eingecheckt; Personal zwar freundlich, doch mussten wir sicherlich 10Min warten, bis zum Checkin! Zimmer müssten mal überholt werden, vorallem die Beleuchtung im Bad ist "mangelhaft"! (dunkel). Zudem sind Zimmer immer noch mit Badewanne/Dusche ausgestattet, sodass über den Badewannenrand "eingestiegen" werden muss;was mühsam ist und das Duschen beengend macht. Hatte schon bessere Zimmer im RadissonBlu, hoffe drum, es werden ALLE Zimmer "nachgerüstet".

This hotel was perfect for my 21 hour layover.

Very convenient as it is located in the airport. But the hallway smelled. They need better air handling and fresheners. I found that while the room was clean and tidy, there was product shorting going on including one toilet paper roll, and the other dispenser was empty. They were new washcloths. The tub drained slowly, so it was full of water when you shower. Little things like this add up to a average poor experience. This hotel gets heavy usage. A much better alternative is Hyatt place or Hyatt Regency. The price for this room was $450. Which is absolutely ridiculous for what you get. It should be priced down near $200. Recommend staying anywhere else.

At the airport

Easy access to the airport and train station.

Just too convenient if you have to overnight between two flights.

Room was spacious, clean and very quiet. Location was excellent. The only negative was the lighting in the bathroom around the sink area was very dim, which makes it very difficult to do your hair or makeup.

The strength was its location. Unfortunately, the construction blocks the connection to the shopping portions of the airport. Vehicular check-in is very complex.

Brilliant hotel within the airport

Stayed at the Radisson Blu the night before departing Switzerland. I think the reviews are overstating this hotel somewhat significantly. It's perfectly fine. But when you're a hotel that's basically ON the airport, then there are two things that you need to do well: allow for a great nights sleep (prior to flights) and have conference space. Unfortunately the latter got in the way of the former. I didn't think to ask for a room that wasn't below the conference space and was greeted with a room that communicated the sound of everyone moving around upstairs like they were in the room. Constant movement interrupted any hope of a good night's sleep. The uncomfortable bed made that worse. The hotel is also DARK. The room we had overlooked the interior courtyard, and for some ridiculous reason included NO overhead lighting in the room at all. Trying to get some paperwork done was a significant challenge as none of the lights in the room lit up the room enough. It's baffling. They put a light over the toilet, but there's no light over the bed - just a couple of dim lights on the side table. It wasn't just the room. The hallways were dark, the lobby is dark, everything is dark. Ultimately, this is a hotel for people that are attending a conference. They're not paying for it with their own money, so the amenities are fine for them. If you're using your own money though? Choose elsewhere. (Breakfast was not included in my room - it was an expensive option I declined)

Perfect for a night sleep after a long flight

The hotel is 5 min walk from the terminal, train station, and airport shopping. The room was spacious and clean. The AC was very quiet, so we had a good night sleep.

Excellent airport hotel to stay in the night before your flight.

My stay here was great. I had two nights whilst travelling with work. All the hotel staff were great, the bar was fantastic and it is in perfect proximity to the airport or a quick train trip into town.

Personal überheblich. Erklärt nichts, nur dass keine Fr 7 in bar akzeptiert werden. Müsste an der Reception angeschrieben sein, dass kein Bargeld akzeptiert wird. Zimmer sehr ok.

Clean rooms, convenient location, and plenty of nearby dining options. Perfect for families.
