The hotel and staff were great. But if you're staying there as a convenience to the airport, be prepared to take the hotel shuttle 2.5 hours before your flight. The hotel shuttle does not drop off at terminals, so you have to take a shuttle, the AirTrain and then another shuttle to the terminals. We left 2 hours prior to our flight and almost missed it. So plan accordingly.

Convenient to Newark airport for overnight before early flight. The shuttle vehicle was pretty beat up with torn seats and obvious dents, though.

Solid hotel and not much noise for being by the airport.
Things to note -- the Hotel to airport shuttle service ran on time 2x every hour to Newark Airport Station P4 only.
The airport AirTrain is slow and was only running on 1 track the week of Aug 22. For being an airport hotel, it still took almost an hour to get to airport security during a slower day at the airport (midday on Thursday).
No option to walk to the Airport Terminal or to the Intercity Train Station.

The only complaints I would have would be your shuttle bus. Needs to be upgraded. Seats very worn. Not a good first impression. Also rooms facing the highway should have more soundproofing.

The hotel shuttle from the airport will only take you from the airport to one of the Hampton Inn hotels. The shuttles are identical and if you get on the wrong one, you end up at the wrong Hampton Inn and they are required to take you back to the airport. The two Hampton Inns are 20 minutes apart, but this mistake cost our group almost 2 hours.
The hotel was functional and typical for Hampton Inn. The desk staff were rude and uninterested in performing their job.
