Holiday Inn PORTLAND - COLUMBIA RIVERFRONT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

We had a room with a view of the river and it was beautiful!! Clean rooms, nice lobby area, great stay! Would come back :)

I liked the view, the walking trail right outside the hotel, the pool, and the staff. There were some areas where cleanliness seemed like it was not a priority, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We were promised a river view suite. We got that: kinda.

Place are big, safe, quiet, lot of place to park and convenience. The room are big and clean.

Restaurant is absolutely terrible for all occasions…morning coffee, breakfast, dinner. Don’t waste your time. The servers ALL act like they’re wasting their life there and getting a smile is impossible. Additionally the food is terrible. The front desk staff however is exceptionally accommodating and the pool is wonderful (unless you’re there during a Saturday little league championship ). Additionally, I find this baffling but directly behind the pool, instead of Monetizing this valuable space it is filled with trash and deliveries and you can smell it every time you walk to the lobby on the outside deck. If I were them I would move the trash and create a platform for the restaurant and fire everyone and get a new hiring manager who knows how to hire people with restaurant experience.

The pool area with picnic tables was nice and I liked the view from there as well. The front desk staff was nice.

Lala at the front desk was so kind and was quick to make our tired traveling crew feel relived and restful. Thanks you Lala.

Gave us a dirty room. Not usual for this hotel. Probably understaffed like the rest of the world that counts. Had to dust here and there to put things down, things on the carpet just ignored... Other than that same as I've stayed at 30 or so times.

Bed was a great pillow top. Not a lot of food options nearby except for fast food.

The staff was very friendly & the hotel was very clean. This property is rather dated & sure wish the mattress had been comfortable (was just really worn out). Other than that, the view was spectacular & the room was quite large & roomy. Would like to see Holiday Inn renovate this hotel soon; it's in an excellent location & overlooks the Columbia River.

Not recommend to stay, smells bad. The whole experience was not what we expected we had to check out one day earlier even loosing money, at least breakfast and waiter was good.

This will be my 4th time staying at this property for a summer girls trip on my Birthday weekend. Has not disappointed! Love it for the pool day, close to shopping, and close to dinning options. Especially to the Vancouver Waterfront! Very convenient. Staff is exceptional! Thank you again for another great birthday stay!
