I stay here often for work. I often use Honolulu as a stopover before continuing on to Asia, and I always stay here at the Pacific Marina Inn. The staff is always wonderful, they greet me by name, and IMO it's one of the only truly reasonably priced hotels in the whole Honolulu area. Plus, it's worth a lot that they have a free 24 hour airport shuttle that is always quick and convenient, and again the staff is always super pleasant and helpful. I'll always leave my friends at the Pacific Marina Inn a great review! I've said this before in previous reviews... You already know going into this that this is not the nicest hotel you'll ever stay at, but it's perfect for what it is and my rooms have always been clean, even if the building is older. What more can you want for a decent price!

Staff were amazing! The hotel was exactly as pictured. This hotel is not located near a ton of attractions but we enjoyed that because it was quiet and no traffic. We rented a car and easily went to the whole island. The staff gave us advice on how to save money on attractions, shopping and suggestions for must see places. A lot of guests were return guests who were also super friendly and helpful. We would stay here again for sure! The pool was perfect and a lot of times we were completely alone to enjoy when we needed a relaxing break between sightseeing.

The location of this hotel is very convenient to the airport, and the shuttle service was prompt, picking us up quickly after just a phone call. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which I really appreciated.
Unfortunately, the positives stopped there. The room itself was old, and we had a major issue with plumbing from the room above leaking through our ceiling. To make matters worse, maintenance started hammer drilling directly on our wall at 7:00 a.m., waking us after a long day of travel. When I tried to call the front desk about the problem, I discovered the in room phone did not even work. I had to use my personal cell phone to reach them.
The staff did apologize for the early morning maintenance noise, but the drilling continued nonstop until we checked out around 10:30 a.m. Needless to say, any chance of getting the rest we needed was ruined.
Overall, while the location and staff were great, the condition of the room and the disruptive maintenance made this a very disappointing stay.

Excellent location to the Honolulu Airport, but the room we had was just too neglected for us to enjoy being there. Stains on the ceiling, damaged blinds , neglected corners that just made this place feel not ok.

Airport hotels at HNL airport are expensive. This one is the "cheapest" one. Shuttle wait pick up from the airport was twenty minutes. The property is very basic. But for one night and an early flight in the morning, it's okay. The room was clean and had microwave, the beds were comfortable.The staff is efficient and friendly. Public transportation from the airport is scheduled to open this October and there's one stop just by the hotel.
