An even more exhilarating way to experience the Blue Mountains is with the Scenic World Railroad 3-Combo: ride the Scenic Railway, made from trolleys that used to travel in and out of the coal mines and Cableway, and the Skyway cable car, where the great Australian outdoors unfolds beneath a glass floor. Afterward, you'll have free time in the town of Leura Village to explore the quaint village.

Sydney Zoo, the new icon of western Sydney, is the largest of its kind. There are around 130 species of animals to see, including some native to Australia such as koalas, kangaroos and wombats, as well as animals from around the world such as tigers, elephants and meerkats.
