Breakfast is is there no one there who can do boiled or fried eggs

Average breakfast, staff need to be encouraged to inform people before charges are made to guest's accounts.

Breakfast was mediocre - no mushrooms, scambled eggs needed seasoning and bacon was like boot leather. Room was clean and mattrass was comfy but sink plughole didnt work, so we had water stood in it from brushing out teeth the night before which then smelt a bit unpleasent the mirning after.

We stayed at the hotel during the Christmas holidays while visiting family. The hotel has a good location, the rooms are a decent size, and both the bed and pillows were comfortable. We initially stayed for four nights and then extended our stay by one additional night before changing hotels. There was nothing to complain about regarding the breakfast, but it felt a bit repetitive over time, and after five days we chose to change hotels to get some variation. Otherwise, we would have stayed longer. The hotel is also reasonably priced compared to other three-star hotels.

My room was ready when I arrived but they charged me to check in. Even tho it was ready? We also had to pay to park, seems strange that they wouldn’t include that as complimentary for guests. They also do not offer room service. Breakfast was great tho and when we asked for glasses they provided them, even if we did have to get the lift down to collect them.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. Rooms and Breakfast were great for what we needed during our stay

Rooms are new (like the rest of the hotel). The room we booked was for 2 adults + 2 kids. Expecting 3 beds we actually got 2 beds and a couch, which was clearer a 2 seater, that had a SMALL double z-bed frame. Was really uncomfortable for both kids (age 12 and 9). Totally not what we expected of had in other mid range hotels we’ve stayed at previously. We actually assumed it was for 3 people so asked for a new room (we got a different room, but same bed was in the second room). The kids had a bad nights sleep, as did we as they kept disturbing each other. To top off the sleep, the air con filter alarm randomly went off at 5:50. At which point we were all wide awake. Breakfast was so-so, bacon appeared to have been shredded, tea was grey even brewed with two bags. Staff were ok, Area was not pleasant, lots of noise from the ring road, with a poor outlook, the walk to the city was through a bit of a back alley / side road, not well lit, especially walking under a ring road bridge. Avoid later at night. Will not be rushing back to a Hampton branded hotel.
