Bonne experience mais très déçu par l’espace soin, pour partie inaccessible sans un gros supplément, ou en panne (piscine non chauffée et sauna hors service).

Amazing experience - would highly recommend

If you book the Chateau le Thil room, please understand that you're basically booking at a separate hotel. You need a car for the 3 min drive, or a bike during the day. We wished we would have just booked at the main hotel, because it felt like we got a completely separate experience than what we were hoping for. We also wished the distance between the two was made clearer on booking (or with an immediate follow up email) - it really felt like a separate property and should be marketed as such. The main hotel itself was beautiful, but we had some missteps with the staff. A few large groups were staying at the property and they seemed much more concerned with them than with our smaller group of 4. Service as the restaurant was spotty - twice we ordered white wines (both in French, and by pointing to them on the menu), and were delivered reds. At check-in it was not made clear where the spa was, and there's little signage in the hotel, so we were wandering around trying to find someone to direct us before our appointment (no one at the front desk). They directed us through a gate that was locked, it was a frustrating situation. The spa itself was beautiful, if limited in facilities (2 pools and a steam room), but the treatments were excellent. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Overall, it felt like a beautiful surface without the actual bones of good service. We didn't feel as cared for as we have at other luxury properties. It was frankly disappointing.

Veldig overpriset i forhold til hva man får. Vi bodde på et gjestehus 1,5 km unna hovedbygget , og det var flue langs vinduskarmen da vi sjekket inn. Ellers fine omgivelser.

We had the most amazing ime during our stay at Les Sources de Caudalie. The staff was all very polite and friendly, breakfast buffet amazing and the hotel installations are just as stunning as pictures. Defnitely would come back.

Our recent stay at Les Sources de Caudalie in Bordeaux was riddled with significant issues that fell far short of a five-star experience. Despite its prestigious Relais & Châteaux status, our visit was marred by mistakes and poor service. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a "welcome back" note, although neither my wife nor I had ever stayed there before. This mistake caused unnecessary suspicion and tension, as my wife thought I had previously visited the hotel with someone else. Our room was located a mile away from the main building, with no amenities such as a pool, bar, or restaurant nearby. This inconvenience is unacceptable for a five-star hotel where guests expect easy access to facilities. Dining was equally disappointing. When we tried to eat at Rouge, the hotel's small restaurant, it was closed for a private event despite two-thirds of the space being unoccupied. We were denied service, leaving us without dining options. Additionally, although the hotel advertises 24/7 room service, this was not available in our room’s location. The cleanliness and housekeeping standards were appalling. Instead of changing coffee cups, the staff simply rinsed them in the bathroom sink. Such a lack of proper hygiene is unacceptable and concerning for guests. The overall service was poor, with staff displaying a dismissive attitude towards our concerns. This indifference was especially frustrating given the €700 per night rate we paid. Avoid this hotel!

Week-end en couple dans un lieu magique, luxe, sérénité absolue. Nous avons profité pleinement de tous les services et activités proposés par l’hôtel. Nous avons testé les 3 restaurants, avec le point commun d’avoir un service parfait. Le service était un peu lent au restaurant bistronomique « La table du Lavoir » mais l’équipe adorable a bien compensé l’attente. Moment très agréable aussi au bar à vin Rouge avec une équipe très sympathique et de bons conseils. Et enfin un merveilleux moment à La Grand’Vigne, le restaurant doublement étoilé. Nous avons profité d’une demi journée au spa, avec un rituel en duo dans une cabine magnifique. Équipe très attentionnée, moment de bien-être et de détente. Parmi les autres activités, nous avons eu la chance d’avoir un cours de yoga particulier avec une super professeur venant de bordeaux, balade dans les vignes et les châteaux des environs grâce aux vélos mis à disposition par l’hôtel, jogging dans la forêt des sens avec un parcours balisé par l’hôtel, visite du château Smith Haut Lafitte passionnante avec dégustation. Notre week-end était parfait, dans un cadre somptueux, avec un personnel tres attentionné. Nous reviendrons bientôt!

壮大な葡萄畑に囲まれ囲まれ自然とホテルが柔和している。人工的な便利さが無い分、非日常を十分味わうことが出来た。また、スタッフの無駄の無いホスピタリティはこれまでの旅行で経験したことがなく大満足である。
