What an amazing stay here at the Double Tree Hilton, the view was magnificent!! The room size was perfect and the customer service was astounding, I would highly recommend staying here again.

Wir haben das Hotel für ein Wochenendtrip in Rotterdam genutzt. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Erasmus Brücke und direkt vor der Tür ist sowohl die Metro als auch die Straßenbahn. Die Einkaufsstraßen waren nur zwei Haltestellen entfernt. Als Lage also top.
Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und neuwertig. Dennnoch sehr klein. Das Waschbecken war nicht im Bad, sondern im Raum selbst. Für Rotterdam wahrscheinlich jedoch eine gute Größenordnung
Die Lobby ist während unseres Aufenthalts in Renovierung gewesen. Das was dort zu sehen war, sah aber auch sehr gut aus.
Einziger Haken ist die Parkmöglichkeit. Ein Parkhaus ist fußläufig verfügbar. Für zwei Nächte haben wir ungefähr 35 € zum parken dazu gezahlt.

Hotel mattress was extremely hard so the elder fell off the bed on the first night. Hotel was quick to try to rectify it, with a change of room no less. Glad we paid for breakfast, which made it easier given our travel with senior.

It was all good until 1 am we were sleeping and the shower woke us up.
It came on by itself, I could not get it to stop and tried for several minutes. Eventually it stopped and all was good.
At 2 am we once again woken up by someone trying to get into the room, by the time I got up to check it out a couple open the door with their room key walked right in.
They apologized and left

Leider waren die gesamten öffentlichen Bereiche im Umbau befindlich. Pool, Gym, Lounges im Erdgeschoss konnten nicht benutzt werden.

El hotel está actualmente en obras, por lo cual hay algo de ruido e incomodidad de día. El problema es que de noche también hay mucho ruido y las habitaciones están mal insonorizadas; las fiestas que se montaban los vecinos, y a cambio tener que llamar a recepción dos o tres veces sin que hicieran allí gran cosa. En síntesis, se durmió poco.
La actitud del personal de recepción bastante apática. De hecho, es la primera vez que voy a un Double Tree y no me ofrecen la galleta de protocolo.

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit our daughter who studies in Rotterdam. At checkinn we liked the treat. Breakfast price of 18€ was to much for us. We found nice places in the direct neighboorhood. Renovations and maintenance in the hall did not bother too much.
Our room was small but comfortable, view at one of the canals of the Martime Museum.

Service, f.eks. i forbindelse med morgenmad, var upåklagelig, og maden var lækker. Når jeg alligevel er lidt forbeholden i min anmeldelse, er det fordi jeg stort set ikke sov hele mit ophold. Mit værelse lå ved siden af elevatoren, hvis klokke var meget hørbar. Og af en eller anden grund syntes andre gæster, at jeg skulle underholdes mellem 1 og 2.

Positives: the decor of the room is very nice, clean and well equipped with kettle, hair dryer, safe and good storage options.
Negatives: the hotel was under going renovation and downstairs was quite noisy and dusty.

Hotel was very helpful allowing me access well before check in time. As I was warned there is building work going on although this did not disturb as this was a weekend stay. Staff also stored my bags for a few hours after check out. I did not use the restaurant or bars

Prettig verblijf! Personeel erg behulpzaam! Locatie top! Kamer prima / schoon! Tijdens ons verblijf werd er flink verbouwd! Geen last, was wel rommelig in complex. Liever 2 losse bedden gehad !
