We were leaving on a cruise the next day so the location was ideal as it was a short tram ride away from the cruise port. It was also within easy walking distance of the food market as well as a shopping area. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Doubletree, Rotherham and it was an experience that mey all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with a warm greeting and helpful information about the hotel amenities.
The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and the service attentive without being intrusive.
The hotel’s location is another big plus, conveniently near all pulic transportation and within walking distance of the shopping area and restaurants made exploring the city easy and stress-free.
Overall, my stay at the Doubletree was excellent. The combination of great service, and prime location made it a memorable experience.

Booked for 5 guests last minute for the same night but a mistake changing my search pushed the booking 1 week ahead. Noticed immediately afterwards and tried to call but no answer on phone so started a chat with expedia. As I needed to book rooms urgently I was advised to make a new booking while they tried to contact hotel to cancel. Hotel refused and I ended up paying for 2 full stays for 5 people. One of which is wasted. No flexibilty even for a large order so very disappointed.

We picked the hotel as we liked the look of the roof top bar so disappointing to find out when we got there that it was closed for refurbishment. Telly in the room did not work and when reported was told they were aware of the issue last week but nothing was done to put this right. Fab breakfast, comfy bed and nice shower.

The hotel was undergoing remodeling. The lobby had a terrible sewer smell and the power went out in my room in the morning while I was getting ready for work. The steamer didn't work and I had to ask the front desk to refill the shower gel ofter the bottle was empty for 2 days. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious even though they directed guests to eat next door since their own restaurant was under renovations. I doubt I will stay there again. I visit Rotterdam 2-3 times a year for work. Not impressed.

The staff was variable. Some exceedingly kind and pleasant but some abrupt.
The facility sent me a note the day before arrival indicating there would be construction in the hotel. I told them that it was not excellent of them to send this less than 24 hours before arrival. But we did not experience any noise.
The restaurant for breakfast was excellent.
The location of the hotel was very good.it had easy access to the harbor area which was nice.

There was a distinct smell of marijuana in our room. We told the front desk. They said they could put a machine in our room to help to remove the smell. We were told that the machine would be loud and would take up a lot of space in our small room. We asked to be moved to another room, but we’re told they were fully booked. At 11 PM two staff members came to our room and realized how bad it was. They moved us to the neighboring hotel.
