I have never experienced a hotel that refuses to store luggage after check-out—until now. We stayed for 8 days in a 4-bed room, traveling across continents with large suitcases (4 check-in and 4 cabin bags) and a wheelchair for my mother. Given the circumstances, we expected at least a basic level of accommodation from the staff. However, when we asked to store our luggage for a short time after check-out, the staff outright refused. Even after explaining that we needed to take some bags to the Central Station first—on foot, while pushing my mother’s wheelchair—the response was shockingly cold. Instead of understanding our situation, he pressed us again: “What time will you be back?” As if he couldn’t wait to get rid of the rest of our suitcases. This was an incredibly disappointing and inhumane experience, especially for a group of four women, including a 70+ year-old grandmother and a 13-year-old child. I would not recommend staying at this hotel, especially given the lack of basic hospitality and the unkind attitude of the staff.

The three bed room was spacious and comfortable, albeit quite basic. The bathroom very nice with plenty of hot water. The location is central but not smack bang in the middle of everything. It requires a short walk to the tourist spots. On the other hand it is quiet at night. The breakfast is basic but it works.

Stay was ok except TV needed re programming each time it was turned off. Also the plug doesn't prevent water flowing down the waste reating a large wastage of water.

Killen som tog emot oss, och även var där när vi skulle hem, skulle få 10 stjärnor om det gick. Väldigt trevlig, hjälpsam och tillmötesgående. Tyvärr glömde jag fråga vad han hette, men han var mörkhyad och lång och smal. En stor eloge till honom.

The hotel was very well located, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was super clean. We found the shower didn’t drain super well and on our last night there was a group of people who were being ridiculously loud outside at 3 am. It woke me up but my son and partner slept through it. This isn’t the hotel’s fault but something to be aware of for people considering staying here. The hotel is on a relatively busy street and near a bar, if you’re at the front part of the hotel you may hear people outside. It was only the last night that we experienced this and overall we would go back!

My fault I booked the petite room without windows but I didn’t realise how small it would be nor that it would be below street level. This room was tiny, couldn’t walk all the way around the bed or have suitcases open. Very noisy at night when people stop above on the street to talk. It is a good location for being close to the train station and central Amsterdam. Buffet breakfast was good and a reasonable price. Room was clean and housekeeping ws good. Get a room upstairs if staying here.
