Hotel Zwanenburg

Room clean, fridge, tv, kettle by request. Sheets and towels clean. Hot water in bathroom. Heater works. Supermarkets and restaurants close. NO ELEVATOR. If you need the room to be cleaned you have to pay 15e. It's a one night hotel.

Although the stuff were very helpful the hotel had no facilities not even a glass our cup in the room. There was not even a machine to get drinks or coffee. The air cons did not work and there was a sign not to use them. It is sad as this hotel must have been excellent 30 years ago as it has all the makings of a really nice place in the past. The rooms to sleep in for a night would be OK, for longer stays a bit doubtful, as there is no lift and if you have heavy bags, it is not great if you are on the top floor. As far as the area goes the shops were close, with a bakery just across the road but it didn't have coffee. There is a nice bakery just up the road we went to every morning that was small but really nice. Lido supermarket was 200metres up the road that was handy.

It’s easy to access the train station. You have to pay for air con as extra when you’re there. Which is fine we just didn’t know

Like price Not like overdue maintenance, Not very clean hairs in shower, floor not or badly vacuüm cleaned, stuf under bed from other people, no food in the morning, not even a cup of coffee was possible. Also personeel was complaining about Expedia which was not fair and even not true! In nodded and end the conversation.

Wir hatten das Hotel Zwanenburg für 2 Übernachtungen für den Besuch von Amsterdam gebucht. Das Zimmer war ok (mit Kühlschrank und Fernseher). Es gibt einen kostenfreien Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Man läuft ca. 20 Minuten bis zum Bahnhof Zwanenburg und ist in 10 Minuten am Amsterdamer Zentralbahnhof. Die Züge fahren im Viertelstunden-Takt und sind immer pünktlich. Einen Föhn sollte man dabei haben - unser im Badezimmer funktionierte leider nicht.

Hotel hat ein eigenen Parkplatz. Das ist postiv zu bewerten. Hotel ist generell etwas schmutzig und runter gekommen. Das Zimmer ist auch schmutzig. Unter eines der Betten lag noch eine Unterhose rum. Um hier 1-2 Nächte zu schlafen OK aber für mehr reicht es hier nicht.

En natt på genomresa. Ett hotell i väldigt dåligt skick och en heltäckningsmatta så smutsig att vi inte ville gå barfota på den. En liten kyl fanns, men om du vill plugga i TV:n så måste du dra ut pluggen för den. Ett värdeskåp utan nyckel och en trasig hårblås fanns också på rummet. Var tredje minut eller så kommer att lågt flygande plan som ska landa på flygplatsen och dundrar över taket (tyst på natten dock). Badrummet var i bra skick, med ett stort badkar. Just det, AC också trasigt och även låset till badrummet.

the communication was really bad. they didnt reply when we messaged them, some essential information wasnt relied to us either. the hotel in on itself was fine. not amazing and could definitely be better. the lady in the reception was very nice and did a lot to help us with our problem, when we had had to sleep in the hallway due to our keycard not working for a night

Det ligger i et relativt rolig boligstrøk, med kort avstand til matbutikker og noen enkle restauranter. Litt langt å gå fra og til toget eller buss, om man skal inn til sentrum. Om man vil oppleve hvordan det er å bo i utkanten av Amsterdam, kan dette absolutt anbefales. For min del burde jeg nok valgt å bo nærmere sentrum, siden man er helt avhengig av tog eller buss for å komme til sentrum. Den tiden man taper på pendling kan fort lønne seg å betale litt mer for i sentrum - men da kan støy bli et annet problem...

Peeling paint, mold in bathroom, 90 degrees outside and no air conditioning. Very small rooms. We booked three rooms but decided to eat the cost and went to a different hotel for the night.
