Room cleanliness and staff service

we first booked a reservation, then extended with 2 more reservations longer as we wanted to stay longer in sydney. Prepaid full all 3 bookings. I double checked with the hotel before arrival that we would get the same room and not have to check out, when we then arrived at the hotel they wanted a deposit for our already paid reservations x3. i.e. 200 aud x3, normal hotels only register the bank card but these took the payment and when I got the payment back we got less than the deposit back due to fees and currency exchange fees. they also said that we would have to check out every time even if we would get the same room. our first room was full of hair in the shower so we got a new room, but in the second room there were dirty socks and a used hairspray bottle behind the dresser. no one has cleaned them up yet.

Did not use the bar and paid for breakfast as part of my package

All the staff we spoke to were so nice and helpful. The breakfast has a good selection, and I love that you can make your own juice. The rooms are in good condition and clearly freshly renovated. The bathroom is a little small, when door opens it almost touches the toilet. The lobby is currently being renovated and it was a bit noisy during breakfast. Nice gym and pool. Although a little on the cold side, it was refreshing! It’s in a great spot near the river and Church street eateries.

Air con broken: took them 1.5 hours to move our room

Spacious, clean room. Great location close to cafes and restaurants. Short uber to Olympic Showgrounds.

The property is impeccable. The location is convenient and the dining options around the hotel offer variety. Only a short Uber ride to Olympic park made this a perfect place to stay overnight.

Yes room was good as was the staff, didn't like the fact you held a security deposit given there was no mini bar. And it has still not been returned to my account yet either.
