Comfortable weekend stay. Good sleep had on both nights despite a very firm mattress. Shower over the bath wasn’t very powerful and the bath plug was difficult to open and close. Good variety of breakfast items which we enjoyed. Evening meal was very good if a bit pricey. Good, attentive service from Lindzy in the restaurant. All staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking (£8.50 per day) and an easy, flat walk to all that Stratford has to offer.

The room was cold even after I reported it to reception. Sunday breakfast was unable to keep with demand.

The room was large and of a very good condition. Unfortunately the heating didn't work and it was freezing when I first entered the room. We were supplied with 2 electric heaters which was ok but not great.

The hotel is in great location and staff were friendly although they were clearly short staffed with no one on the bar at times and only one person on reception at busy times. We had an issue with feather duvets and asked to be changed but were told that no one in housekeeping they had gone home. Someone did change it though whilst we were out. Check in and check out was painful the computer system being clearly slow didn’t help I had booked an access room but didn’t get one - we managed but if you do need one it’s worth checking that’s what you will get. Despite these minor things we enjoyed our stay.

Very close to train station. Good breakfast buffet. Room was ready when we arrived at noon.

Dining was good on the first evening apart from the length of time to deliver the main course {our prepared food was delivered to the wrong table, so there was a delay in delivering two meals for us), and on the second evening one main course and one dessert were overcooked and dry.

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. However the staff and service, were not good. The person who checked us in was the most unfriendly and disinterested I have ever encountered. Mumbling and then sighing when I asked them to repeat. Then, there was some event/party that was going on until 2am… so very little sleep. Added to the fact that housekeeping woke us up at about 8 on a Saturday. Not happy with that. Oh, and even though this site says they do room service, they don’t (or at least didn’t that night) Overall, was not even close to being worth the price I paid when I can get better service from lower cost alternatives. Will not be staying here again.

Great service, nice and close to the centre. Breakfast was excellent. We visited for the Christmas market which was cancelled due to storm Darraugh so not quite the break we expected but still a nice place to stay.

You told me parking was included. It was not. You told me there was a safe in the room. There was. However it was not connected to the room in any way. You could just pick it up and walk off with it.

Conveniently located and clean. A little dated though, dark and brown. Could do with a refurb. One of the very slow lifts has been out of action for several months now.

Comfy bed but really soft pillows which I didn't like. Show was too small with really old shower head. None of the USB sockets were working.

Stayed for a Friday evening out in the town for dinner & drinks. Location withing minutes of the train station and a short walk to the town and local bars/restaurants. A little on the expensive side but superb rooms for all 6 that attended. We didnt use the bar or breakfast as there were many other local options that suited us better.

Stayed 2 nights. Location good. Room had very creaky bed, impossible to sleep on, and shower that sprayed water out of the back of the hose. Reception changed room without fuss for second night. Expensive for what it was, especially breakfast which was a buffet, not very high quality. Also surprised to pay high tariff for parking as hotel guests!

Beautiful location, very walkable from the train station and to the old town where the historic sights are. It’s a modern hotel, very clean m, and the staff are very accommodating. We enjoyed our visit, the only caveat I’d say is to try to return from sightseeing before dark- since it’s dark by 7 pm at this time of year (early October) , it was a dark stroll coming in from town after dinner and the hotel grounds are not lighted after dark.

The staff were friendly and the old building was well-maintained. It's in a great location, allowing you to reach the tourist center within 10 minutes.

Chambre parfaite avec un très grand lit double et douillet, la chambre était également spacieuse et agréable. Possibilité de se faire un café ou un thé , frigo à disposition. Facilité de se garer, payant certes mais pas très cher. Je n’ai ni pris le pdj, ni manger au resto, la carte me semblait un peu légère et courte. Il y a beaucoup de possibilités de restauration à proximité
