ロンドンの中心地にある集合アパートメントの一室という感じで味がある。若き頃に憧れた都会の裏側的な雰囲気もありながら、静かで落ち着いける。室内は築年数は結構たっているが、白塗りで清掃が行き届いて清潔感がある。４畳半に近いがトイレ・シャワー付きでロンドン観光の拠点としては結構便利。ビクトリア駅は徒歩5分程。レストランや食料調達にも不便ない。トイレの紅白一松柄のタイルがワンポイントで雰囲気を醸し出している。ある程度の不備に対応する事は、何処でも想定しておくと良いだろう。

I live in Miami & decided to extend my stay in London by 1 more day but didn’t want anything too expensive so booked 1 night here. It was,for the price, really good value.I booked a double with shared bathroom but the members of staff,with the owner’s approval over the mobile ,upgraded me to an en-suite room with no extra charge. The room,number 11 was clean, warm & wi-fi was working well. I was happy & will stay again in future.

I booked one night at the Golden Star. I already knew Victoria was a great area, and since I was on a budget, their price—cheaper than anywhere else—was a big factor. To be honest, I was a little nervous after seeing a few negative reviews, but I couldn’t have been happier with my stay. The staff were polite and helpful, and I even had a nice chat with the owner, who gave me excellent recommendations for places to eat, drink and go out. He’s lived in central London all his life and knows it extremely well. I stayed in Room 5 on the second floor. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, towels and soap were provided, and the free Wi-Fi worked well. The shared bathroom was right next to my room, so it felt almost like having a private one. Overall, the hotel offered a great price in a great location, and I’ll definitely be staying there again! Very happy to have stayed
