広い庭にくじゃくやうさぎ、リスがいたり、プールがあったり子供達は大喜びでした。ホテルの外観は少し古い感じだってのですが部屋もレストランも綺麗でとても良かったです！

Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Room itself was nice and spacious but there was a terrible smell from the bathroom which can only be described as poor waste water management. We only discovered it on returning from our evening meal at 11.30pm by which time it was too late to move. I had to leave the window open all night to try and remove the smell which wasn't ideal as there was a band playing behind in one of the function rooms. We reported it the next day but reception wasn’t that interested. On arrival we also requested robes to use in the spa and we were advised there wasn’t enough so they couldn't fulfil the request. Pool and sauna area was nice and clean. Definitely a one off stay I wouldn’t return as I don't think the service matched 4 stars.

Unique hotel

Great room, clean and tidy, Nespresso machine. Need more coffee pods though, not de-caf. Hotel has a lot of stairs, and odd layoit, but appeared clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was a bit bland, and never hot, only warm. We were there for a wedding and that was fantastic though!

Staff all very friendly and helpful. Description of room needs changing. Not all bedrooms have a bath/shower combination. Some only have a shower. Hotel was able to change our room to one with a bath. Also description states that bed has sheets. They don’t. They have a duvet, not topsheet and duvet. They did provide us one but had to ask twice. Parking can be a problem if there is a conference, but just ask reception and they will find you a space.

Beautiful property. The grounds are gorgeous. Staff is friendly. Parking was easy. Perfect place for a day away from the city.

Bed was ridiculously comfy had to wake up at 5:45am wish I didn't have to move.

Good: indoor pool, steam room, sauna, gym and games room, dietary requirements for dinner could be accommodated. Improvement needed: only 4 bikes and only 1 worked, not enough vegan options for breakfast, family room too small for teenagers, no jacuzzi in the pool area.

Huge Room and beautifully done Staff friendly Will go back

Lovely warm welcome from staff. Our stay had dinner and breakfast included which was fab. Particularly the dinner, lovely options - we’d recommend the fish and chips, lamb shank and chicken. The chips are unreal! The room was lovely also. Came with a nespresso machine and complimentary sparkling water. The pool was also very clean and calming. We didn’t use the gym or sauna. This was our baby moon and we’d highly recommend it as a little getaway. Particularly around autumn/ winter - it had such a cosy feel to it!

Great stay

Great place to stay except for the fact the rooms are not "sound proof' at all. VERY noisy all night with the constant sound of extractor noises. So a great place to stay if such things don't bother you but terrible for light sleepers.

Bathroom needed a refurb as cracked tiles and no handle to assist getting in and out. No face towels available nor shower cap. Food was overall very good apart from the scrambled eggs at breakfast which were awful. Pool area also needed a refurb as again lots of broken tiles.

Beds are horrendous worse couple of nights sleep weve had in a very long time

Magnificent old property maintained in excellent condition with peacocks roaming the grounds. Our room was lovely - high quality finishes and furnishings, very comfortable.

Rooms were great, had extra towels already in the room. Front desk was very helpful, they took the time to find outlet adapters
