めちゃくちゃ綺麗で、スタッフさんも優しくコスパも最強でした。朝食もめちゃくちゃ美味しいにも関わらず、安くて良かったです。

すごく素晴らしかったです。ただ、部屋が遠くて階段があったのと、部屋が酷く狭かったです。

Really nice hotel.

I didn't enjoy this hotel to be honest. 1. When we arrived at our room, the windows were open, and so many flies (more than 10) were in the room already, we had to kill them all. I don't know why the cleaner kept the windows open. 2. at 6 am, fire alarm went off. Hotel staffs didn't explain what happened. When I asked them, they said,' no problem.' I couldn't sleep well after then. 3. We stayed for 2 nights, but the cleaner didn't change our towels on day 2. The same towel we used and same amenities which we used last night were still there. Also cups were unwashed and so as spoons in tea area. They didn't provide the new ones. We had to call the front desk, and finally they gave us new towels. 4. Poor wi fi connection from the room Only thing i liked was our room was sea view room, but the above reasons, I couldn't feel comfortable at this hotel.

Good

Very festively decorated for Xmas. The room was snug but had a good view, although since we were at the top there were a lot of intruding angles. For example standing up straight in the shower was a challenge. Breakfast was included and the staff in the restaurant were pleasant. Old fashioned seaside hotel.

All good and nice to have a 'individualistic style hotel'...ie still with Victorian features.

Was okay

We booked a sea view room, but the single glazed windows meant it was noisy. There is major engineering work happening across the road all through the night which we felt we should have been made aware of when booking as it affected our sleep. The walls between rooms are thin, meaning you hear your neighbours television (at 5am), and the curtains do nothing to cut out the street lights. There was a sliding door to the bathroom, which was easily dislodged from the track- just not user friendly. Tea and coffee was served in vacuum jugs, the coffee wasn’t very warm. There was a limited buffet selection, but the cooked menu had several options. However, my scrambled eggs were overcooked and the toast was rubbery. The lift only went 1 floor towards our room, leaving 2 flights of stairs to negotiate with my walking stick and our bags.

Clean and cosy room, friendly and welcoming

Staff friendly enough but hotel and rooms are very tired and in need of complete refurbishment. There is no double glazing so spent most of the night awake listening to the yobbos screeching up and down the main road on motorbikes.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was really good, quiet and good size bathroom. Great cooked breakfast. Great location, close to the railway station and bus station.

This hotel is warm & welcoming. This is my go to for it is close to the buses, the hovercraft & the fastest offer many portions to see all the locals sighs

A great hotel with nice rooms and friendly staff. Check-in was easy and quick. A great location being close to the town centre, bus station, Hovercraft terminal and Pier for Catermaran boat services to Portsmouth. It would have been nice if the check in time could have been a little earlier, as 4pm is quite a late time to start check in otherwise everything else was excellent. The breakfast was nice as it was included in the price of the room and you had the choice of a full English breakfast.
