We were a group of four couples , who booked and paid same. But for some reason we had a smaller room and no air conditioning .
For the price we paid , we expected better.

Only a quick one night stay on the way to another holiday. I travel a lot.
Check in was ok, had better had worse, lifts very small, steps into the bar so wouldn't be suitable for a wheelchair user. Toilet flushed itself a few times within the hour of use, coffee machine didn't work in the morning and the barman automatically assumed i only wanted house wine, although lovely to be reminded of when I was young and thats all I can afford! The hotel was in a great location and the windows were double so very quiet.

I had a suite which despite triple glazing,you could hear music blaring till 3am from the waterfront.The staff said they monitor tje noise levels.The breakfast was disappointing....luke warm..
The room had dust on top of mirrors,the air con was so noisy,I switched it off..I sadly wouldn't stay again.

This was a good choice of hotel, so central, with views over the river and easy from the station, convenient for buses, shops and attractions. All the staff were very pleasant but a BIG shout out to the reception team - they were amazing, outstanding they couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them.
If we return to Bristol that requires a overnight stay we would definitely stay in the Bristol.

My partner and I really enjoy staying here, it's always our go to. The staff are helpful and polite and the breakfast is consistently good.
Our only complaint is the lack of air con. During our last stay it was about 27c outside and we're only provided with a sub par fan. We have air con units in our home so we didn't sleep well during our stay as it was far too hot. Unfortunately this will probably stop us from staying here in the summer in future.

The location was great for the conference I attended at the nearby M Shed. The breakfast options were well presented and good quality and the setting was lovely. The bedroom was great in terms of cleanliness and quality of facilities.
BUT on one of the hottest days of May with outside temperatures at 35⁰ the hotel had taken central control of the bedroom AC temperatures which they set at an uncomfortable 21⁰. I opened the window but with no breeze from outside, I barely slept. Lack of sleep and heat-related exhaustion affected my participation in the conference on the following day. Colleagues who stayed at a far cheaper local hotel had excellent air conditioning during their stay! Overall, indpite of the positives I wouldn't stay again since a good hotel stay is essentially about having a good night's sleep and being refreshed for the next days activities.

We stayed one night while we were in Bristol for a show at the Hippodrome. It is an older hotel, but a comfortable stay with convenient car parking. It is conveniently located within walking distance of many sites and places to eat. We had a good size, clean room. The bed comfortable and showers hot. We really liked the white company toiletries, and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. Would be happy to stay if we are in the area again.

Every member of staff that I spoke to was super friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, very clean and well presented.
Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and a wonderful view of the river to accompany your meal.

We received a lovely welcome when we checked in and we were upgraded to a larger room with a waterside view. The hotel is perfectly located for the Bristol Sounds events and provides easy access to a wide range of food and drink options.
We booked for bed and breakfast and we are glad we did, the buffet breakfast offered a selection of hot and cold choices and the breakfast room is delightful.
