enjoyed my stay and breakfast. All staffs were kind and wonderful.

Location is very convenient, quiet and safe. Only 6-7 minutes walk to museums and South Kensington Station. The room is clean and comfortable. I want to come back to this hotel again.

Staff was very helpful. Location near V&A great. Charming Victorian. Buildings with park in the rear which can be viewed over meals.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly situated for visiting the Chelsea Flower Show, Harrods and V&A museum. The room was fantastic and the front of house staff were friendly and very helpful however, the restaurant lets this hotel down. The food took too long to arrive and the staff were not very attentive. They appeared to be under pressure even when the restaurant was not particularly busy. I would have expected a better quality of service from a 5* hotel. I paid for breakfast as part of my booking and was hugely disappointed when it finally arrived. It was either cold or overdone. Quite frankly, it was below par and compares poorly to other 5* hotels that I have stayed in. That said, when I complained to the manager about the service, they were extremely apologetic and adjusted my bill accordingly to compensate. Also, I forewarned the hotel that my wife was celebrating a significant birthday and, whilst I understand that they were not obligated to acknowledge it, a complimentary box of chocolates, bottle of wine or simply a birthday greeting would have been appreciated. I would stay in this hotel again but would consider an alternative dining experience unless, the standard of food and service in the restaurant improves significantly.

We enjoyed this small hotel and the location was amazing. If you are up for walking it’s a great location (less than 1.5 miles) to most of London’s big attractions including the Chelsea Flower Show. I would have given this a hotel a 5-star, but we found the restaurant staff to be unfriendly and very stressed. We ate 1 dinner and breakfast there and headed out to other restaurants for the following 4 days of our stay. With that said, the food we had was very good. Thank you for a great stay.

Gorgeous hotel. Bar and restaurant are stunning. Rooms are nice size

An historic building in a great location, to be sure. But if I have to be honest, it was my worst sleep in 2 weeks of travel. The A/C was ineffective and recurring sounds of police or other emergency vehicles through the night ruined what could have been a very nice stay. We may have been upgraded to a larger room but the bathroom was minuscule and could accommodate one person only. Breakfast was fine but pricey. Would not stay here again.

Restaurat,very good dishes and services

We chose to stay at The Franklin for our wedding, and despite the friendliness of the staff, there were a few instances where the hotel did not meet expectations. Firstly, the lack of option to check-in early despite advance notice was somewhat inconvenient, secondly my partner was promised a Prosecco and chocolate board on arrival, but there was no Prosecco. Thirdly, the sound on the floor above us was constant and led us to believe that we were sleeping beneath a hallway with constant footfall. This resulted in an extremely tired bride the next day. None of it felt particularly “luxury” aside from the nice toiletries, but having stayed in many other luxury hotels we will not be returning in a hurry. It’s a shame as they really ought to create memorable experiences for important life events.

Hieno hotelli hyvällä ja rauhallisella sijainnilla. Lyhyt matka metroon, museot, kauppoihin ja ravintoloihin. Henkilökunta todella avuliaita ja ystävällisiä. Hotellin yleiset tilat tyylikkäästi tehty samoin kuin hotellihuone.

Beautiful hotel!!

Fantastic chic hotel. Lovely room with everything needed. Friendly staff, super breakfast and perfect location near Hyde Park, Harrods and underground.

The bath/shower was not the best. I had to take a video of the shower head, only about 1/3 of the shower jets were operating. I showed the video to the desk staff and asked to have it looked at. Later that day I was told it was addressed but when I turned the shower on only about 1/2 of the shower jets worked. I never had a proper shower and never felt clean.

Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die „Schränke“ sind leider klein, nicht richtig vorhanden, weshalb wir für unseren Kurztrip eher aus dem Koffer gelebt haben. Ansonsten super gut geputzt und ordentlich. Es gibt eine Decke, die man sich teilen muss. Außerdem hat man eine Klimaanlage in den Zimmern. Service gibt es 24/7.
