The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend.

Very good location and good breakfast. This place is highly overpriced, the rooms and other spaces need to be renovated. Avoid rooms situated close to neighbouring pub during weekends. Noicy. My first room ( 20) were in a really bad shape but I could change with good help from the staff.

Great location Great staff friendly & helpful Breakfast great The room let are stay down For what we paid the room needs a revamp paint above tv looks awful damp coming through paint all lifting , ceiling light missing glass cover needs replacing, tv old remote not very responsive to use , bathroom bit tired plug for bath not attached handles on the bath are terrible all loose ,

Great location on the harbour. Definitely on the shabby side, common areas could use some redecoration and carpets, but the room was nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Overall a great place to stay for a few days, we would stay again.

Great location great welcome and great staff

Like a rabbit Warren to find our room they promise up grade next winter. We had a view of aircon fans and walls.

So much character! Clean room, very friendly staff, great bar lucky to catch live music sea shanties no less. Breakfast was excellent and fresh, location exceptional.

Great breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lots to see in Padstow. Some noise from the pub in the building at night and carpets could use a refresh, especially in common areas.

Great room overlooking the harbour. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. All staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was nice with a lovely view of the harbour but the bathroom is in need of a refurbishment. Although it was clean the wallpaper was coming off the wall, the plaster above the shower was flaking off and the shower tray was rusty. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. My only gripe is when the bar staff pet peoples dog that they wash their hands before serving food and drinks. The bar area was very festive and the food was lovely. I do think the restaurant was also in need of a facelift. The hotel is in an excellent position right on the harbour and there is payable parking directly opposite. I did read that the hotel is due for refurbishment in 2026 and if this is the case I would definitely chose to stay her again.

Old style unique hotel, spacious rooms with a great view. Nice breakfast included. Very friendly staff.

Staff and room very good

Very clean and functional room. Lovely pub atmosphere downstairs with a good food menu and lots of local and mainline beers to choose from. Full breakfast was very good too! Recommend!
