It is with heavy heart i leave 'Home'... aka Hideaway Resort and Spa in Coral Coast.
From the moment,we arrived we were welcomed by the Porters... 'welcome Home'... and this phrase is used from Reception staff and Restaurant/Bar staff... Little they knew i lost my father 3 weeks ago and that by welcoming home, they touched my soul. We have stayed a numerous hotels in Fiji and some 5stars, however the hospitality we received here at Hideaway Resort and Spa was beyond the expectations.
Kini, Miri, Tash, Peni, Taniela, Naomi, Amani, Sitari , Vala George... just to name a few were incredible humans. They made us feel at home, they left no stone unturned to make our family holiday one to remember for a life time.Accommodation was comfortable big rooms four us, 2 adults and 2 kids age 12 and 15. Daily room clean... thanks Miri you are a star. Clean beach and pool. Lots of activities organised by Activities Team, Thanks George you are one very talented person.Daily activities filled our days with excitement and we learnt how to cook chicken curry, tie a Sulu, tried roasted coconut, participated in games which had a price of free coffee, lucky me I love coffee. We had aqua dance, dinner shows and fire dance shows.
Boat Fishing trip was easy to book via the activities teams, thanks Kini and Dan, you are both super stars.Taniela who sang us beautiful songs near the beach. You sing like an angel, Thank you.Restaurant and Bar staff your smiles are contagious. We love your services. THANK

自然の濃い環境なので、生物との接近遭遇に耐えられない方には向かないかも。
でも、すべて十分ですし、朝食つきでこのお値段はなかなかないと思います。
そうそう、簡素なジムにも１基ですがパワーラックがあって、ちゃんとトレーニングできます。
本当になにもせず、リーフエッジの波頭を眺めてぼーっとしたい、みたいな方には最適かと思います。
朝日夕日月星空の美しさは筆舌に尽くしがたいモノですし、必要な方にはキンキンに冷えたフィジービターもばっちり👍

We stayed here for 3 nights.
There is very nice beach in front of hotel and breakfast was really good.
Location is bit far from airport.but when you take a taxi,it’s very easy to get there.
I have a good time to stay in highdaway resort.

There is very nice beach in front of hotel and breakfast was really good.

I had a very bad food poisoning experience on the second day. Nowhere else to eat. Not sure if anything was done abbout it. No reassurance. The staff were very nice and dealt with me quickly and took me to hospital. But did the chef know?

i have been to Hideaway for years this time the staff was definately un happy, i spoketo them off the record the outcome was the resort manager was not good and showed no love to the people who makes there job easier
i tried tactfully to talk about there concerns of course got nowhere i spoke to the taxi drivers and local town folk all stated the resort has gone backwards but that is my humble opinion

Hotellet var gammalt, brunt vatten i kranen.
Ingen ac på gymmet.
Poolen hade brunt vatten.
Maten var jättebra och billig. Mycket mat och kött.
Dock var frukosten inte bra alls.
Havet var fint.
Hög musik vid restaurang som förstörde middagar ibland. Kändes som att sitta på en nattklubb.
För priset var hotellet helt ok.

Breakfast menu is very, very limited and didn’t change during our five night stay there. We stayed in a two bedroom Bure. The room was very basic and more like 2 stars. Aircon was very good though. The resort is quite remote and additional taxi costs could be more significant than expected. We paid FJD 80 return to the Gecko resort to watch the fire dance, FJD$10 each way to the restaurants at Maui Bay. The dining menu at the resort was very limited. The nightly dance show was a surprise in that it was different every night we were there. Saturday night was the best with fire dance. Activities at the resort were great.

The resort was about 1.75 hours from Nadi airport, we rented a car. Resort was mostly clean, some areas, mainly miniature golf needed work.
Room was clean and daily service was good except when exchanging towels, didn't get everything back. Staff friendly and helpful. Snorkeling was good, reef appears to be dying in areas. Lots of colorful fish. Water was clear.
Restaurant was hit or miss. Pool looked cloudy all week, even though smelled liked chlorine in the morning. Showers were good. You charge everything to room, convenientt.

The property's general condition was suffering from a lack of investment. It would appear there have been very little modernization since opening which must have been at least 25 years ago. The staff did a great job with their enthusiasm but it only goes so far.

The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly couldn't do enough for you. The resort was very authentic and was great to visit the actual Fijian people. Lovely beach and pool. Food was great and menu changed nightly.

The room was a bit run down but clean with ok aircon. Staff were great but a few were very poor, especially a young guy who cleaned the pool on the Saturday, he was very rude. Also they had ridiculous crimes in place regarding loaning fins to snorkel, in the end I went out and bought my own.

The normal beach Bure rooms need some cleaning / renovation. We upgraded after our first night to a Deluxe room which was better.
Staff overall is always friendly but room service / cleaning was a bit of hit and miss.
Pool staff was often not there so you had to find someone to get a pool towel. We did not try the hotel food, but no one seemed to go to dinner there as it was empty when we checked.
We booked a few trips and few important details about trips and times were inconsistent/wrong which questioned why we booked through them.
Overall I would stay somewhere else but its okey if you just use it as base and go outside for day trips.
TLDR - go somewhere else, basic does the job hotel, needs serious renovation
