自然に囲まれたホテルでベランダもガラスで囲まれてて自然を満喫できるホテルでした。近くに湖があるので散策もできるのでリラックスできます。また、朝食も種類が豊富でよかったです。

ヨーロッパ最大の氷河を遠くに見ながら食事のできるレストランは特に素晴らしい。朝食も種類豊富で美味しい。幹線道路から離れているので静かな夜を過ごすことができる。

冷蔵庫とセーフティボックスがなく、電源コードも少ないなど、少し設備が物足りないところもありましたが、部屋は綺麗でお洒落でした。オーロラが見えたら起こしてくれるサービスもあり。ロビーにはコーヒーメーカーもあり無料でコーヒーが飲めます。朝食も美味しかったです。ステキなホテルでした。

Excellent breakfast. Breakfast staff was on top to stocking breakfast items and clearing tables. Do not book a Standard or Economy room at this hotel through Expedia. The hotel’s website only shows superior and economy room. We booked a superior room on Expedia. The reservation showed a standard room. We were checked into an economy room. The front desk attendant was unable to change our room due to being fully booked. The economy room was way overpriced compared to the 7 other hotels we stayed at in Iceland. The room was basic and the building craftsmanship was unrefined (see pictures).

Prices are VERY high. We stayed in a Budget room one night and it was not very nice. We stayed in a Deluxe room the next night and it was much nicer. But the Deluxe should have been the Budget price. Hotel is clean and has a great breakfast. Beautiful views from the Deluxe rooms. It is out of the way, near a small town but 5-6 miles off the main road into farm land.

Best breakfast but hotel was overpriced. Triple room was small but enough. 1 chair in the room and 2 towels. Breakfast had an excellent selection - hot food, pancakes, pastries, deli meats, salad, fruits. Shared but quiet balcony to see the view

The stay ended up being perfect and memorable! The hotel is in a beautiful location, has a great restaurant and bar with nice views! Just note that the hotel has a new and old wing, with the older wing having thinner walls and a bit cramped, more like a 2.5-3 star. My wife was pregnant during our stay and after some noise due to a tour bus group (not the hotel's fault), we were graciously moved to the newer wing where the rooms were more spacious and nicer, more like a 4 star. Breakfast was fantastic and we would definitely stay again.

This hotel is way too expensive for the quality of the room. The rooms have no soundproof, luckily everyone remains quiet during the bedtime so I have no trouble sleeping.

The staff was really wonderful and I can’t say enough about them. They were very accommodating and I feel bad criticizing because it isn’t their fault. Also, the breakfast was GREAT. However, our room was laughably bad. The room had a terrible smell, like a bathroom vent pipe was blocked. The bathroom had mildew and the sheets had holes. The floor creaked loudly when we moved or when the people in the adjoining room moved. To use the shower you had to step up over a foot into the unit. It was just not all that clean. If we had booked more than one night we would probably have left.

Located in the middle of the nature, beautiful views. Hotel looks recently renovated, but the build is not great, barely any insolation between the rooms. Restaurant servers very good food, but the night we dinned there, they were obviously under staffed.

Room was small for 3 people. Had a tub instead of a shower. Facility was outdated. If you overlook these areas, great location for a relaxing walk and day. Laki is limited in it’s amenities and sightseeing if that is what you are looking for

Loved this place. Fantastic location, quiet peaceful with super views & walks from the hotel. Restaurant was high quality. Great base for touring the attractions. Thoroughly recommended.
