I wish there was bar service by the beach. The jacuzzi was nice pretty big

The food was bad

I'm grading this hotel based on the fair price I paid, not comparing it to the resorts where I paid double or triple price per stay. Its located close to the airport and water activities, you can take a bus any time to those. Ladies- bring shampoo and conditioner as they only provide shower gel and hand soap. Expedia travelers- you have a complimentary room upgrade and they ALWAYS have an extra room for you, remember that, so just ask. Big thanks to Leonardo M the manager for helping us with an upgrade. Food was good for the price of the hotel, everyone was very friendly. It's pretty loud in the room from the traffic outside and the traffic to the elevators inside. Its right on the beach, its pretty crowded as its public but the water is warm and very blue. Good hotel, not resort if you are looking for peace and quiet.

The views were excellent the beach was amazing. The overall property is on the smaller side and in fair condition. One of the highlights of our stay was the staff, especially around the pool area though we really couldn't enjoy it because it was too cold— the staff on the other hand were attentive, friendly, and truly excellent which kept us coming to the pool. Unfortunately, the main downside of the resort was the food. The options were repetitive, with little variation from day to day. The entertainment was also very mediocre. We traveled with four children ranging in age from 7 to 12, and sadly there was little to no entertainment geared toward kids. While our children love the pool, it was too cold for them to truly enjoy, which was disappointing since we traveled from the U.S. to escape the cold weather. Evening entertainment ended around 9:30 PM, and after that there was very little to do for adults, making the nights feel quite bland. Based on our past experiences in Cancun, and although we had an overall “okay” stay, we would not return to this resort nor recommend it to families traveling with children who are looking for engaging activities and entertainment.

Clean, great facilities, food was excellent, staff very attentive, entertainment was wonderful, excursions just wow and beach was absolute perfection! Great family resort!

We spent 5 days and the hotel was okay, rooms not that big were 4 and I booked 2 queen beds ended up with 1 king bed and extra bed, the staff was nice our AC wasn’t working so they sent someone to fix it. Didn’t like the food the main restaurant is quite small sometimes you wait your turn. Beach was nice, pools clean, if you used to big resorts and high quality maybe this one not for you.

Pool is good, my hot water is shut off from 2 days. Hotel management didnt bother to fix it.

Staff went out of their way to be of assistance. We were there during New Years Eve. They set up for a party everyone could be a part of. Music, lights, professional dancers and different acts. Top the night off with fireworks and a lighted dance floor. Lots of fun. Nice restaurants, pools and the weather is fabulous.

This was my 3rd time going to Mexico and this resort was worst out of 3 different one that we stayed at. We had ocean view room with Balcony and room was good, clean and good view. I am giving two stars because of the restaurants. You could only make two reservations for dinner per your stay, rest of the nights they put you in waiting list or you eat at the buffet. We stayed for 5 nights so we had to eat at the buffet which is basically same menu as lunch. Also, they did not have many vegetarian options like the other resorts. The other thing that I didn't like was the system for beach or pool towels that you need to have a pass to get beach towels. Front desk staff didn't give us the passes for towels when we checked in so had to learn hard way. Also, the front desk staff is very slow, spent at least 15 mins waiting for someone to help every time I had to request something like asking for stuff for table games or any other request. And please avoid buying anything from resort store, their price are just random, they will tell you different price for same thing depending on when and who you ask. My daughter wanted pool floaty and which they said it is $30 US dollars in the morning and for the same thing $35 in the evening, this would normally cost less than $10. All the workers in the restaurants or at the bars are very hard working, polite and pleasant to talk with.

We stayed at GR Solaris 7 nights for Christmas. We loved it there ❤️ Hardworking stuff, very nice and always there to make guests enjoy their stay. Entertainment team is amazing , Food was great, beach was beautiful! Perfect resort for families with kids ! Thank You GR Solaris team for making our holiday unforgettable ❤️❤️❤️❤️
