Great location, nice and clean room

Ich würde diese Hotel kein zweites Mal buchen. Unser Zimmer lag im Nebengebäude unterm Dach. Die Treppe zum Dachgeschoss war mehr als steil. Wir hatten zum Glück nur leichtes Gepäck, sonst wäre das ein Problem geworden. Das Zimmer bestand eigentlich nur aus einem Doppelbett. Ein Stuhl und ein schmaler Tisch passten auch gerade noch hinein. Wir hatten gleich zu Beginn mit dem Abfluss der Toilette ein Problem. Später kam auch noch ein Defekt der Heizung hinzu. Man konnte die Temperatur nicht mehr regulien und es wurde sehr warm unterm Dach. Das Personal war zwar ansprechbar, hat aber etwas lapidar geholfen. Insgesamt war der Preis für dieses Zimmer zu hoch.

No hay ascensor, habitación en piso 3 y no recibimos ayuda para subir ni bajar las maletas por las empinadas escaleras a pesar de haberla solicitado. Además la caja de seguridad no funcionaba… pedimos reemplazo de jabones y refil de acondicionador pero no lo realizaron.

O hotel possui uma ótima localização, próximo à mercados, estação de train ("bonde"). Atendimento da recepção ótimo.

Hotel is in very poor conditon. Just as othwrs have said it is in a state of total disrepair, was obviously nice once but not at all maintained. Ugly marks everywhere, and questionable stains throughout bathroom and on bedding. Lift was disgustingly dirty and remained so throughout our stay. Had upgraded to a 'large' room before arrivak yet room we were allocated was absolutely tiny. Complained to staff on reception who was indifferent and did nothing. For the money paid, this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in.

Loved the location. Clean and friendly and quiet. Loft was lovely and large. stairs to loft were “exciting.” Just a lovely stay.

Great option for a short stay in the city and only a short walk down the canals to the centre, 10/15 minutes tops. Staff were amazing and the cafe/bar across the road is a great spot for a beer

Guy with ponytail at breakfast was great, easy to walk everywhere, room was shockingly cold.

It’s in a great location, however the hotel rooms were very small and tired. We had a double room which was two single beds pushed together and they were not very comfy. That being said the staff were all fantastic, the hotel was clean and we would stay again due to the location.

Overall a lovely hotel, decor in rooms tired and needs some love - new wallpaper etc. lots of cobwebs so marked down for cleanliness but sheets etc clean.

The lobby is lovely, slightly misleading. Rooms are slightly dated now, dusty, window didn't lock properly so the blind slammed/ be aware if you face the street its noisy at night- asked to move and they couldn't move us. For the price it's not worth it. Be prepared to lug luggage up four flights of stairs/ lift doesn't work and even if it did it fits one person- claustraphobically small. Good location though- that's the only perk.

L’albergo in sé non è male. La colazione è buona, il personale cordiale, ma pessime le stanze economy, piccole, anguste. Nessun posto per le valige,nessun ripiano per gli oggetti personali. A stento riesci a passare da una sponda all’altra del letto. Ed inoltre non sono state neanche accontentate le nostre richieste, tipo quelle del cambio lenzuola visto che erano macchiate, e la sostituzione del phon che non funziona bene. Sicuramente un tre stelle senza lode. Inoltre la pulizia pessima, troppa polvere, esagerata.

Good hotel room, booked double bed but it was just 2 single beds pushed together so wasn’t the best sleep. You can hear every single thing outside and in the corridors so keep that in mind too

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. The room was soooo dark that’s my only issue x

Had to ask to move rooms as the first one had a leaking radiator. Reception did so in a manner that suggested it was our fault. The pictures on .com draw you in, but they suggest the hotel is nice than it is. I'd say massively overpriced and the quality of some elemnts - for example, the carpets in the common areas - is more a hostel standard. Lift is tiny and very poor if you have lots of luggage. I'd definitely return to Amsterdam, but not Hotel V.
