たいへん良いホテルです。場所もベスト。シントラ宮やレガレイラはもちろん、ペーナ宮殿に徒歩で登るのに最適です。だいたいここから35-45分くらいですが、登山道はよく整備されています。 システムがアナログなので、うちは別の中国人客と勘違いされました。英語で誤解を解く必要性がありましたが、そのハプニングのおかげで一泊目と二泊目で違う部屋に泊まれて両方楽しめました。谷側のお部屋はテラスがついていて、小鳥の声と小川のせせらぎを聞きながらまったりできました。南側のお部屋は眺望と夜景が素敵でした。またこられたら是非宿泊したいです。

レガイラ宮殿から徒歩8分、駅からは徒歩20分程度の立地。部屋は寝室とバストイレ、応接室の三部屋で構成。設備は古くともバスタブや普通のドライヤーもあり。夕食はここのレストランを利用し、おいしくいただけました。朝食もチーズやハム類は数種あり不満なし。スタッフも優しく、フロントでは言葉が通じないとき、翻訳アプリで対応してくれました（笑）

This charming historic hotel is full of character and history, yet it is exceptionally well maintained and spotless throughout. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent for exploring Sintra, with easy access to the town's main attractions while still offering a peaceful atmosphere. Staying here felt like stepping back in time and experiencing a piece of Sintra's rich history. The breakfast was also outstanding—one of the best I had during my trip. I would highly recommend Lawrence's Hotel to anyone visiting Sintra. It is a truly special place to stay.

Oldest hotel in Portugal I am told. The location can't be beat. The hotel offers a very quaint historical experience with basic modern amenities. The desk staff is very accommodating. It was some of the best I have experienced. Parking is a tough issue; but the staff helped tremendously. Sintra is not a town for cars. Price was very reasonable. I would stay again.

The location is excellent. Short walking distance to the historic center The hotel is small, quaint but a bit old and run down. I had to ask for the bellboys to help with our luggage, and to have our room cleaned. Breakfast was just adequate. There's convenient self-parking right in front of the hotel which is nice. The hotel is expensive for what you get.

Elegant old world charm, friendly front reception staff and excellent breakfast with hot and cold choices. Cannot park in the area as restricted use in old town. Getting an Uber to drop you off and walk a short way to hotel, even for seniors is ok.

Lovely historical hotel with very friendly staff. I loved the being in such a historical hotel. Breakfast was totally delicious and totally fresh.

Historic hotel close to centre, old-world charm and very comfortable rooms to lounge in. My room was large, had plenty of cupboard space and a lovely view over surrounding countryside. Good breakfast, with friendly restaurant staff. Great place to stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Lawrence's Hotel! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area.

Friendly, great location

The staff were very helpful and the location was fabulous. The breakfast was great - the only other comment is that the hotel isn’t 5 star quality as the room we had was quite tired. Other than that, a great place to stay

This hotel is a piece of history. Only 8 minutes up the road to the Quinta da Regaleira. The hotel is lovely, the views are great. The breakfast was small but sufficient. The restaurant is good. The staff is very helpful and the massage was great. I would recommend calling and booking a massage in advance so you can get your preferred time. everything is aboout a 12-17 minute walk except the mountain top Pena Palace for example - uber or tuktuk to that. Parking is very limited if you are coming with a rental, call in advance for information regarding the paid parking garage. Once you pass the hotel it takes 15-18 minutes to go around and get back with all the one way roads. The road to the hotel is closed to general traffic so be prepared to tell the traffic controller in portuguese that you have a reservation at the hotel.

Un charme désuet mais très agréable. Nous n’avons pas eu le temps d’explorer tout l’hôtel, mais des petits salons dispatchés un peu partout, rendaient l’endroit charmant

Very beautiful and historic hotel. Lots of small cosy area to sit and chat. My only and this is a small niggle is the WiFi kept dropping
