建物、部屋、朝食、サービスなどすべてにとても満足しています。
外出先のお店に忘れ物をした際も、迅速で適切な対応をしてくれ、無事に手元に戻ってきました。
ただし、欲を言えば、シャワーだけであったため、寒いエディンバラでは体が温まらず、疲れが取れなかったのが残念なことでした。
隣接のレストランThe Scholarは、カジュアルで予約なしでも入りやすいです。
料理は手の込んだ凝ったものではなく、素材を大切にしたようなシンプルな調理法でした。

This was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. It’s so beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. The food at Abacus was delicious and the staff there were also very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Scott.

Forgot that the 1st floor was up a level, so should have asked for rooms that would not require going up any stairs. Had trouble finding the place originally. The staff and hotel were great!

there was a minor computer issue at check in and the reception staff handled it calmly efficiently and wonderfully. at all times I felt that they were able to figure out and resin to e the issue. The staff was exceptional at all times but went beyond at reception.

Nothing but kind things to say about the staff and the atmosphere. Everything was so warm and comforting, and we had an absolutely impressive stay. Whenever we had questions, the staff were incredibly helpful. Amazing stay!

This rustic yet modern building is in walking distance of historic Edinburgh. The room and amenities were excellent, service great, the sister restaurant had excellent food and drinks. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful and really peaceful as its on the Edinburgh university campus. staff just could not have been more helpful. We were unable to use the dining room for breakfast as we had our dog with us, so they set us up our own dining area in a reception room where we had breakfast served to us separately. Now trying to find an excuse to return

Breakfast was fresh and delicious though the buffet was rather limited.
The hotel is a beautiful old building and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in room 37, which along with room 36 is 4 flights up with no lift so not suitable for everyone. The staff did help us with our luggage.
Additionally the ceilings in our room are such that the bathroom mirror was exceedingly low. You’ll have to bend over to see yourself and do the tasks for which you need a mirror.
Finally the location is about 25-30 walk to the Royal Mile/castle area with several good restaurants about a 10 minute walk away.
All in all a nice hotel but for the aforementioned reasons 4 stars is as far as I’ll go.

We had an excellent experience at The Scott. The staff were all very friendly and our room was consistently refreshed every time we came back in the evenings.
It's not in the center of the city, but the walk isn't bad for all the central spots and many bus routes stop right outside the hotel.
Overall extremely satisfied and would recommend.

The location is perfect, right near Arthur’s seat and easy access into the main centre (via bus or a 25 min walk). The staff were so kind and helpful with anything that we needed and the breakfast is a must! The hotel was absolutely beautiful, but the staff made the experience 10/10.
We will definitely be coming back, we felt welcomed upon arrival and the free parking is a bonus!

Quiet location, bus stop is just outside the Pollock Halls grounds. Walking distance to the city. It is an old building, very charming and well maintained. However, there is no lift , staircases are narrow , getting help to bring luggage up can be a bit of of a wait. Overall, always a lovely stay.
