Watch a rare, one-day-only geisha and maiko dance performance at Pontocho Kaburenjo in January. Experience the rich traditional dances passed down in Pontocho and enjoy the famous "Kamogawa Odori," held annually in May at Kamishichiken Kaburenjo. Witness a one-day-only special geisha and maiko dance performance at Kamishichiken Kaburenjo in January. Experience the annual "Kitano Odori" at Kamishichiken Kaburenjo, held every spring. Celebrate spring in Kyoto with a dance performance by about 10 geishas and maikos. See traditional dances passed down through the generations at Kamishichiken in this special performance. The Hanayagi-ryu dance school follows the flow of Kabuki choreography, preserving old traditions while incorporating new experiments.

Location: Pontocho Kaburenjo (Address: 130 Hashishita-cho, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto)
