Highfield Private Hotel

It's really the worst. It's like a prison inside, and there's no elevator. The room is really small The staff is unfriendly. I couldn't sleep at night because it wasn't soundproof. I could hear every conversation in the next room. It's quite far from the opera house. It's not completely close. There's nothing good about it, except there's a big mart nearby and King's Cross station. I don't want to visit again

실내방음이 되지 않아 옆방소리가 다 들렸으며, 실외방음이 되지 않인 밖에서 지나가는 소리와 청소차소리, 조류 소리등이 크게 들림. 공용 욕실은 문제 없으나, 내가 머무른 층에는 여성용 밖에 없어서 불편했음. 위치는 나쁘지 않으나, 공항에서는 한번에 오지 못하고 환승 필요함

가족 여행으로 5박 6일 이용하였습니다. 원룸에서 3명이 생활하려니 좀 좁은 감이 있었지만, 어짜피 낮에는 밖에 나가 있었기 때문에 참을만 했습니다. 킹스크로스 역 근처의 큰 슈퍼마켓 (COLES)에서 장을 봐다가, 저녁은 2층에 있는 공용 주방에서 만들어 먹었습니다. 11월 중순에 이용했기 때문에 사람이 좀 적었는지, 크게 붐비지 않아서 주방을 이용하기에 불편함은 별로 없었습니다. (에어프라이어를 이용하시려면, 안에 넣는 종이를 가지고 가십시요.) 전철역에서 가까운 편이라서, 가격 대비 위치가 만족할 만합니다. 차로도 좁은 편이고, 운전 방향도 반대라서 차량을 렌트하지 않았는데, 역에서 접근하기 쉬운 것은 큰 장점이었습니다. 제 방은 4층이었는데, 엘리베이터가 없는 것이 좀 힘들었고요. 각 층마다 화장실 겸 샤워실이 하나씩 있고, 공용이라서 좀 불편했습니다. 처음 시도해보았는데, 역시 쉽지 않았습니다. 근처에 술집들이 있기 때문에, 주말에는 늦게까지 좀 시끄러웠지만 주중에는 괜찮았습니다. 창문이나 문이 나무로 되어 있어서 틈이 꽤 벌어져 있는데, 겨울에는 난방이 어떻게 되는지, 여름에는 냉방이 어떻게 되는지 좀 걱정이 되었습니다. 가격대비 위치를 선호하신다면, 이용하셔도 좋습니다. 숙소가 독립적이고 편리해야 하신다면 좀 걱정됩니다.

위치는 킹스크로스 역에 근접해있고 주위에 콜스 울워쓰있어 장보기편해요 오래된호텔이지만 깨끗하게 관리 한것같아요

Clean and tidy, central location. the thing that made the stay stand out was the amazing customer service by the staff. They were the most friendly I have ever encountered and would stay again just for the way we were treated so well.

A little more amenities will be good such as body wash and shampoo. A bit of noise from the street otherwise is good.

Everything was good plus the place is near from famous attractions of Sydney

Everything is close together with this property, which makes it really easy to find entertainment or food. :) In the summer it might be a bit of a challenge as some of the rooms don't have air conditioning or fans, but otherwise they're very cosy and Adrian will definitely look after you. :D

Look, it is only a 1 star hotel and so expectations need to remember that. The pub patrons next door like to sing so ear-plugs are essential. For my purpose, a room to sleep in and no more, it was great. Clean, comfortable bed and close to food. Bathroom clean, hang everything on the high hooks, everywhere else gets wet including the door. If I need to stay in central Sydney again I'll use the Highfield again.

Clean and convenient. A bit dated though.

Property was as expected. No highs, no lows. Clean, tidy, friendly. Was only there to sleep. Good price.

Front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind making the trip super easy when I was on a busy business schedule

Old hotel with some charm and good service when the owner is in attendance. Was given a free upgrade which was greatly appreciated... but unfortunately the property has roaches. Saw one in each of the rooms I stayed in. If the roaches are cleared up, I would stay again.

Good location in buzzing part of Sydney - walking distance from both the Allianz stadium and the bridge/opera house area. Expensive for size of room but you’re paying for it being Sydney. Very small room - no space even for a seat and only one pillow for 2 people staying. Parking A$25 extra - but that’s for a full 24 hours. Could see Syndney Harbour Bridge from the car park (opposite the hotel). Only view from our room was of a brick wall. No (working) lift.

Good vibe street... Accommodation is dated...
