* 방에 먼지가 너무너무 많았다. 보기에 걸레로 닦은 물자국이 보이는데 먼지가 그렇게 쌓인걸 보니 정말 가끔 닦는듯. 그렇다고 벌레가 나오거나 곰팡이가 폈다거나 하는 위생상 문제는 딱히 없었다. 다만 정말 먼지먼지먼지.... * 침대는 너무 편하고 좋았다. * 방음때문에 너무 깜짝 놀랐다. 방 안에 소파로 막아진 문이 있었는데 옆객실로 이어진 문이였다!!! 게다가 심지어 방음처리가 하나도 안돼서 옆방사람과 한방에 있는줄.... 기침하는소리, 말소리 다 들렸다. 새벽에 옆방에 누가 찾아와서 노크하고 대화하는 소리에 깼다. *저렴하게 그냥 잠만 자려고 해서 잡은 숙소이고해서 어느정도 감수 했던곳들이라 딱히 엄청 불만은 생기지 않았다. 하지만 가끔 이와 같은 가격으로도 이보다는 나은곳들을 보았기에 좋은 점수는 주기 어렵고 다시 찾지 않을것 같다.

Excellent breakfast. Great location, courteous and helpful staff. Small shopping centre accross the road with supermarkets, pharmacy, bottleshop, post office, shops & great dining options

Old, musty smelling rooms, smelt ciggerets. Very noisy, thin walls. Very noisy car / boy racers burning out all. night. Bathroom was very old and out dated. Wasn't worth $300.00 for one night.

This is far below Mercure standards set elsewhere.

Had a lovely stay. Not too far from anything especially if you enjoy walking.

Was very old and run down, parking was full early in the afternoon and limited street parking. Breakfast was a bit of a mess with only a 4 slice toaster available

Quiet hotel and lovely staff. Comfy bed in large room with lounge and table with a large TV. Night club next door but very faint doof doof on weekends. Close to shops, Maccas, woolies, Dan Murphys, officeworks & KFC. public transport within walking distance.

Convenient location. Very dated. Toilet was dirty when we checked in to our room. The Aircon was set to cold in the middle of winter so we woke up freezing in the middle of the night as the quilts were so thin and didn't keep us warm as we just assumed it would be set to heat. We pre booked breakfast for the next morning, but when we arrived at breakfast we were were questioned several times that nobody had put us on the list for a prebooked breakfast. The breakfast wasn't worth the money as there was very little food in the Bay Marie's and we had to ask for more hot food.

Do not stay un this hotel. Service is bad and not nice neighbourhood with loud party and people screaming because they can. Never stay again.

Centrally located in Newcastle; both quiet and clean.

Beautiful rooms, well serviced

Poor service

The location was great however our room was on the main road facing a nightclub, so the noise was pretty bad even with double glazing. The breakfast buffet was basic and not enough plates to go round, and food kept running out. The property needs a facelift and major upgrade. Based on the developments around it, it looks like it will be demolished and replaced in the near future as it may not be the best and highest use of the land

I stayed on the 6th floor and it smelt damp. The lack of parking was a problem. The room was ok but overall the building is tired and needs refurbishment.
