노보텔 멜버른 온 콜린스

We made reservation for two junior suite. We also asked a month ahead, the hotel to arrange them in the same floor nearby, and they replied positively. However, on arrival at 1pm, we got the largest separation between two rooms. 1×03 and 1x40. We asked if any adjustment possible, but we got refused. There was a construction going on both room of room 1x03 and 1x40. Peoples working at the building under construction, just 10 meters away, it was impossible to open the curtain in the room. For the room 1x03, the door lock was unstable. Upon leaving and closing the door, it did not lock automatically. We had to confim its locking several times. Finally, the wifi connection was extremely unstable. Also not secured connection. It was reconnecting every minute. Thus I finally gave up and had to use hotspot data from my cell phone. The worst experience I had, over last several years. The desk staffs were not friendly, and returned their basic response "It is not possible at this moment". At least I can say that the service level under the same chain of Novotel at Sydney ahead Melbourne was quite different and satisfactory. This hotel at Melbourne need some adjustments.

일단 위치가 너무 좋았고, 더블침대 2개가 있는 가족객실이 매우 넓어서 좋았어요. 서비스는 체인호텔답게 정량화되어 있어 편안했고 요청에 빨리빨리 응답해주셔서 좋았어요. 추천합니다!~

위치는 최상이지만 고급스럽진 않다는게 의견입니다. 고급스러운점은 전혀없네요. 특히 화장실이 그닥입니다. 샤워기도 해바라기형이고 바닥도 전혀 청소가 되지 않는듯하구요.. 하지만 위치는 최상입니다. 호텔값이 비싼 멜버른에서 가격대비로는 괜찮지만 럭셔리를 추구하신다면 다른곳을 선택하시는 것이 나을것 같아요.

We didn’t plan on using the pool and spa but being told they were under construction after paying for the room and not refundable on the wotif site was false advertising. Issues with the lifts are annoying and the views aren’t great. But is in a very convenient location

Very quiet, great beds and pillows!

Great stay, staff were very helpful and polite. Convenient as it’s directly ontop of the shops

Loved the atmosphere. Perfect for a woman travelling alone. Easy access to public transport and food and shopping. Lovely staff.

Better lighting in bathroom would be nice.

Buffet breakfast was the highlight Room was spacious and clean however one of the bedside lamp was missing and i couldn't adjust the temperature in the room which and the room was overheated at night

Lifts Service cant be this bad! I understand there are plans of renovating it, but this is way too hard to put up with - waiting for a long time everytime!

The elevators wasn’t working 2 days out of 4 from concierge to reception and out of the main 3 elevators only one was working every day. This caused a nightmare checking out. Apart from that it’s a good location

Buffet was busy and under stocked rooms where worn

Staff were very helpful and allowed me to change rooms tobe nearer to the lifts.

It’s a tired old hotel! We have stayed here for many years, almost 30 years and it feels that old.

Our family had an amazing time spending our last couple of days of school holidays at The Novotel. The staff at Novotel went above and beyond to help our family and were always so friendly. The location was perfect to get anywhere. Highly recommend if you have a young family.

The main view inside is a construction site, the hotel is busy and a bit noisy at times. A $100.00 deposit instead of just a 1.00 validation of the credit card feels excessive. Amenities I room very basic.
