Wonderful staff and amenities. Can’t wait to return.

My stay at the Hilton was just okay. The resort is clean, but definitely dated and in need of an upgrade. The biggest issue was the lack of hospitality from some of the front desk staff. When I checked in on Friday, I had to wait until 6:00 PM for my room to be ready due to a late check-out from a previous guest. I was part of a group of seven, and because of the delay, I had to get ready in someone else’s room. They offered a complimentary Rum Punch, but I had to complain in order to get a different drink — not ideal. On June 17th around 4:40 PM, the front desk staff were very rude and unwelcoming — not what you’d expect from a Hilton property. In contrast, the receptionist who checked me out on June 18th was kind and professional, which I appreciated. I asked for a late check-out to make up for the late check-in and inconvenience, but it wasn’t accommodated. Some staff were friendly, but overall, the customer service was inconsistent, and that alone would keep me from returning to this property. I hope management takes steps to improve the guest experience.

The property was extremely clean! The staff were not eager to accommodate when it came to the inconvenience of our room not being ready until three hours after check in time. There will be a bunch of fees you’ll have to pay daily just for being on the property. I’m not hard to impress when it comes to vacationing so I can say I loved the beach although it was mostly rocks and seaweeds. Nicer parts of the beach are within walkable distance. Not all of the staff were easy to communicate with but I’m sure it’s mostly to do with cultural differences. Some of their taxi drivers were rude without valid reasoning but shout-out to Sheahan for being great. Overall, I would attempt to find a better hotel before returning to this one but it wasn’t absolutely terrible-just not a favorite.

I was offered an upgrade but staff did not explain that the balcony did not reveal full view of the ocean and property. Staff should have advised me to tour both rooms before making the choice. I ended up with a view of a cement wall. Management did not offer me a refund. Don't think I would choose this hotel again.

Okay overall. Some staff like Adrian were absolutely outstanding and set an extremely high standard for service (he is the only reason service isn’t at one star). Other staff, especially the people at the cafe, may have had some of the worst attitudes I have come across at a hotel. Almost made me feel like I was annoying them by going to the cafe at times, ridiculous. Mediocre experience overall honestly. Great area though

I stayed at the Hilton Barbados from May 14 to 18, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. One of the standout highlights of my trip was the exceptional service provided by Bellboy Makhaya. Not only did he assist us promptly and professionally with our luggage, but he also went above and beyond by sharing great suggestions on things to do both at the hotel and around the island. His friendly attitude and helpful advice truly made our stay more enjoyable and stress-free. The hotel itself was beautiful, with stunning views, clean and comfortable rooms, and great amenities. But it’s the people like Makhaya who really made a difference. Thank you for helping make our trip to Barbados so memorable!

Great place to stay.

The breakfast was good on some days. Enjoyed having breakfast outside with the birds but careful and check the cleanliness of the chairs or tables as the staff may not be able to keep up with keeping them clean. Room service was good.

I had a relaxed time in this hotel. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. I had a Bayview room.It had a mesmerizing view .I could watch the sun set in the evenings and horses at the beach in the morning.I didn't mind walking a bit to the town for necessities. I loved my stay in Hilton Barbados Resort. I would definitely come back to the same place next time.

This hotel is on a perfect location to watch the sunset from UNESCO fort that is within the hotel property. The hotel staff was very nice and allowed us early check in and late check out! The pools are incredible! Hotel in it self was amazing but only problem was that the rooms seem to be outdated and in need of some renovation, at least for a 4 star hotel. And it was quite cold in rooms, the AC wasn’t working properly. We did get extra blankets. We enjoyed our stay and food at the hotel bar and restaurant was very good.
