Beautiful views, excellent drinks and food, impeccably clean! I was particularly impressed by how particular the housekeeping staff were about keeping the rooms clean- they were even mopping the rooms daily to keep the sand out! The beach at this Hilton is easily the best I have ever experienced in the Caribbean (and I have been to a lot of Caribbean Islands) - highly recommend staying here. Some areas for improvement- 1) the restaurants and drinks here are expensive! 2) The amenities could be improved by adding a microwave to the rooms 3)On special occasions like Christmas or New Year’s, while the special dinners at the restaurants are nice to offer, would be good to at least have one restaurant open with the regular menu for guests with dietary restrictions- as a vegetarian, it didn’t make any sense for me to pay USD250 for a special 5-course meal where the only vegetarian course was the dessert! We ended having to do takeout from another local restaurant which was a pain since there are not a lot of options within walking distance and one has to go out into the city.

Housekeeping was running behind schedule. We were unable to access our room until after 8pm. There were a couple days when housekeeping didn’t attend to our room at all. We had to seek fresh towels for ourselves and was met with a slight bit of resistance from the staff. The staff in the Lighthouse restaurant was magnificent. Chantell made sure we were well taken care of at breakfast. The beauty of the resort, the beach and the views were spectacular. I would definitely stay at the resort again. The amenities over shadow the small hiccups in housekeeping.

The staff was rude and unhelpful from the minute we got there. We tried to check in at 7pm after a long day of travel, and the front desk woman said our room wasn’t ready and basically tried to push us aside. Only when I said I wanted a Manager did we get a room. The waitstaff at the restaurants were slow and uncaring, only speaking to us when we asked them. The woman working at the terrace restaurant was especially rude and unhelpful when I went there after trying to get room service for 30 minutes!! When we tried to get information from the woman who had tour information, she barely looked up from her phone and didn’t know about a tour another person told us about. I am a huge tipper and I always treat people with respect! This was the worst treatment I’ve ever had anywhere and I will steer ANYONE I talk away from this terrible hotel!!

I’ve been at the resort since 5pm, I still don’t have a room and it’s 8:25pm. Staff just keeps saying we are looking into it. For over $650 for one night you would think this wouldn’t happen. I may be able to give a better review when a resolution is presented but right now this is so unprofessional it’s beyond words.

This Hilton is begining to show its age and in need of renovation. Did not feel clean and air-conditioned rattled (may be a room issue only). Convenient and staff was attentive though. Recommended for families due to private beach, pool and hot tub. Recommend renovation to reclaim title at touch notch hotel in Barbados. 7/10

The breakfast staff especially Elijah did not make us feel welcome. Every little request was met by ' I must check with the manager,' this included asking for some foil for a sandwich for my gluten and dairy intolerant son.
When we asked for lemon, he brought us one segment (like it was him paying for it!).
Lisa on the otherhand was in stark contrast a vibrant personable lady who bent over backwards to accommodate and make us feel welcome. Hilton, you have a star in Lisa!

Not worth the money, takes an hour every time to get food from the resturant, but what other choices do you have on the island? Whole island is expensive. Staff not friendly either.

Even though these are updated rooms, the hotel is dated. The lobby is mediocre in the pool is even worse not enough staff except for the bellman. The pool was dirty and garbage not cleaned up for hours. The room seemed dated and dirty. this hotel cost me almost 900 Canadian a night and I would’ve expected more than this. I’m gonna have a traveller understand the differences, but this is really below par.

Staff was awesome. Everyone went out of their way to help. There was one housekeeper, Tracey Ann, that was super friendly every day I was there. Excellent service and excellent food.
