The front desk staff was very pleasant. The room was very, very dated and the carpet and room had an odor. The bathroom sink was rusted and chipped in places, however it was clear the cleaning person did their best to clean it. The bathroom door had a great deal of dirt built up on it. I requested a ground floor room and the traffic from the road was noisy in the room with the room door closed. The breakfast was basic and okay. I would not stay there again. I have stayed in other hotels in the area at a comparable price that were renovated and a better value.

Total dump. Went in our room and it had an overwhelming ammonia smell like Tom cat or worse. Front desk got us another room right beside it and it was tolerable but still pretty bottom grade maintenance. This whole part of town is tweekers. The Windom name on it means nothing. I wish I had options to switch to another place. Huge cracks in doors and walls holes beside the air conditioner that go right outside. 1/2 star would be exaggerating.

Breakfast was not what was pictured, there were no boiled eggs and bagel was rock hard. Coffee tasted like dirt water and suite beside the road was super loud, walls are paper thin, beds are tiny with tiny pillows and thin bedding. Worst sleep of my life, better to pay more for a nice bed and thick walls

The bedding and the bathroom were clean. The room was very run down. There was a power bar with the microwave and lamp that would not stay on. We kept having to jiggle it to make it work. You could not plug in the coffee maker as it was too far from a plug in. The carpet was dirty and there was only one curtain panel that barely covered the window. I would not stay here again. The staff was friendly and willing to help though. But I guess it is the old adage you get what you pay for.

It is a very runned down place. I went to turn off the hot water on our sink n it moved n the hot water in the shower went really hot then super cold. They had no complimentary lotion or conditioner in the room. Just a bottle of shampoo in the shower. Walla cracked and I could hear the pple upstairs walk around as if they were in our room. Thank goodness we had a quiet gentlemen next to us. They did have the best choice of cereal for kids and no muffins! I have never had a complimentary breakfast n no muffins. The area also wasn't the best. Homeless people around. Ive stayed at other hotels of the same chain n have never had it this bad.

The word “Wyndham” made us think it’s a great place to stay for a night and of course, it’s located in Kamloops downtown but we are disappointed as the building is old and not well kept and maintained. It’s just a good place to sleep overnight and think that everything will be ok the next day. We had a complimentary breakfast though.

Rooms need updating, Fire Alarm was six years expired in my room, bedding was all stained and I could barely open and close the door into my room - needs work. Lots of garbage outback by my room.
