Clean, fresh and cozy room. Great location- thoughtful bonus amenities, kind and knowledgeable staff. Our room was quiet and our stay was wonderful

Superbe décor, consignes d’arrivée claires pour notre arrivée tardive et lit confortable. Nous avons été par contre déçu de la propreté ( Sofa cerné de façon importante et couvert de saletés. Egalement, miette et objet laissé par les clients précédents découvert en déplaçant le pouf du divan). Nous n’avons pas été en mesure de le spécifié à la réception car personne n’a été sur place de toute l’avant midi.

This little hotel is charming. The staff was friendly and helpful, the accommodation and atmosphere was terrific. The value was great. Overall it was amazing.

Fantastic stay

Modern design. Great products/amenities. Kind staff. Great location. Room design is a bit unique. On two floors. Our room had the bathroom upstairs. No doors - so might not be convenient for people who wants privacy. Due to historic building, can get cold in winter. The staff was kind enough to provide additional heating source and start it on our absence. Not a fan of the shower design in this building. Not intuitive plumbing for water temperature. Open concept means that the shower section remained cold even while showering. Low water pressure - not great for rinsing long hair. The stairs takes a lot of space in the room. So no additional space or chair in the room with this layout. Once side of the bed is under the stair which means low ceiling and potential head bump. Only wireless charging on the night stands - so unless all of your tech can support it can be tricky. I would stay again since I always have a good experience and it’s a great location and great building but the elements mentioned above could influence someone preference. I think would be nice for a couple and people that just want a great location.

Well located close to Chateau Frontenac and 1884 slide. Good size of the room, good bed and shower but terrible pillows and cleaning was reasonable.

The building architecture is beau

Beautiful and carefully designed hotel, only have to say the pillow was so big and uncomfortable.

Room was unique. However, no sitting area or desk making it a sleep only room. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Parking is 2 nlocks away and off site making it impossible for people woth physcal challenges No wheel chair acees as well.expensive but great location

The shower was very poor pressure and cold. The receptionist acknowledged this and said they were aware of the problem. The room was not serviced daily, mugs were left dirty and complimentary coffee etc were not replaced after use

We really enjoyed our stay! Paula is a wonderful Hostess! She made sure everything was perfect for us and had so much information to share. The location is perfect for walking to everything in Old Quebec City! Every evening we would walk up the hill to The Citadel and watch the sunset over the beautiful St Lawrence River and the Chateau!

The room is stylish, and the hotel is within walking distance to Dufferin Terrace, the Citadelle of Québec, and other major attractions. One small issue we noticed was a shoe print on the couch, but overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Not a fan of a dark toilet, but anything other than that is excellent.

We had the tiny split level room. I wouldn't stay in this room again because the bed was only accessible on one side and it was elevated by a few stairs that we had to negotiate before we had to go down a whole flight of stairs to the bathroom (especially in the dark at night). Zero closet or storage space. Staff was excellent and loved the completely new (as of May 2025) interior design of room but the lack of space and split level is a no from us especially at the price we paid. There are far better options in this hotel and elsewhere in town.

This was a very nice historic hotel in a great location near Chateau Frontenac, however there were a few shortcomings as others have mentioned. We reserved the deluxe suite. I was aware that there was no elevator and thought we were on the third floor, forgetting that "European" floors start at zero. So we were actually on the fourth floor, which was 52 steps from the lobby. And we had a loft bedroom in addition to the regular bedroom, which was another 12 steps up for a total of 64. Slightly challenging for two women and a decent amount of luggage. The unit was nice with the original stone walls, however the loft ceiling height was only about 5' 3" so I was not able to fully stand up in there. That should have been mentioned on the listing. Getting up in the middle of the night was a challenge trying not to hit my head on the ceiling! The bathroom was very modern, however water pressure was very bad - slightly more than a trickle. That made showering a challenge. And the bathroom lighting over the mirror was poor making it nearly impossible to see to put on make up. Another bizarre thing was that there was an armoire to hang clothes, but the bar height was probably about 6 1/2 ft so a short person would not have been able to reach. There was also no place to put clothing in the bedroom or loft so I basically lived out of my suitcase. I do want to mention that Paula at the front desk was extremely nice and helped us plan several activities.
