샌드맨 시그니처 에드먼턴 다운타운 호텔

특별히 나쁘지는 않았는데, 오래된 호텔이었고, 청소한 곳만 청소해서 어떤 부분은 먼지가 쌓여있는게 조금 보였습니다. 완전히 도심 한복판에 있는 같아 걸어다니기 나쁘진 않았지만, 곳곳에 노숙자도 보이고 길에 사람이 거의 없었습니다. ...에드먼튼의 특징인지는 모르지만.... 약간은 가족끼리 걷기에 아주 좋지는 않았습니다. 서비스는 친절했습니다.

It was a convenient location. However be prepared for the amount of unhoused individuals in this area. It felt very unsafe walking around the area the hotel is in. There were individuals directly outside the front doors.

The room was so clean and well air conditioned so I was staying nice and cool inside my room.

People doing drugs outside the hotel is always awful. Edmonton has some serious issues with homeless drug users. On the plus side the front desk staff are always wonderful.

The room and staff were not very helpful compared to the last time we were there - very disappointing this time

Great stay

Room was clean, found the bed uncomfortable. Biggest issue was how dated and worn the furniture in room was. Office chair was so worn it looked disgusting. Other part that annoyed me was the closet and bathroom doors not closing unless you slammed them.

Friendly staff. Dinner at the Chop restaurant was great! Room was clean.

Room was clean with a selection of different pillows. Hotel restaurant is very good. Parking was convenient for downtown with an easy walk to Roger’s place for our show.

Clean room, helpful staff

Very close to downtown busy street and plenty of sirens throughout the night.

The staff were friendly and accommodating.

We stayed at this hotel as it was close to where our event was. However, the parking garage is far from the elevator to the rooms. In the room itself, the bathroom was dirty, all corners of the bathroom and the floor were dirty (I cleaned hair bunnies under the sink from previous guests), the area around the drain plug on both the sink and the tub were filthy. It took me less than 1 minute to clean the sink and this should have been done before we took the room. I left the tub for the cleaner to do, so they could actually see the difference between filthy and clean. The shaving mirror in the room was broken. The blinds were old and didn't allow for blackout, and actually not safe (due to the chords) if we had been travelling with young children. Also, there were three of us in the room, and we received three keys, but each time the towels were replenished we only got two of everything. Lastly, the area where the hotel is is the path for many homeless and we almost didn't get out of the car when we arrived due to a fight between street people right in front of the hotel. There is a security guard INSIDE the hotel to supposedly stop them from coming in, but it was not a pleasant situation on arrival. Unless we absolutely had to, we would not stay at this hotel again.

Recently had a mini staycation here to attend a nearby music festival. I parked my car in the underground lot, and proceeded to the check in area; The amount I needed to pre-authorize seemed way higher than the room cost + parking, so I was a bit confused, but carried on with my stay (I had assumed the parking was the price culprit). The room appeared clean, but was visibly aging and was rough around the edges (really old nightstands and dresser, random food on the carpets, etc). That being said, the room was spacious and we loved that it had both a microwave and a mini fridge. When it came time to go to bed, I lifted my sheets and they had small yet noticeable brown stains. I called front desk and they did send someone up with new sheets. The next day we asked for a room turnover/refresh, and they left my existing sheets and took the fresh ones that had been provided. Not super pleased with that. Upon checkout, I realized that this hotel has exorbitant fees, one being $75 per night (on top of the room fee) that wasnt disclosed to me beforehand. I booked here to save money, but next time will go elsewhere.

Had breakfast at the hotel restaurant most of the time I was there and we loved the restaurant and the staff was amazing.

Clean and great location

Everything was great *except that in both rooms I booked the carpet surrounding the air conditioning unit was soaking wet. Not just a small area (and who knows how long it’s been there or if it’s now moldy underneath!?) Concerning. Also- in one of the two rooms, the bathroom door could not close. It literally didn’t fit/ needed to be shaved down and had been installed improperly. The repair/ maintenance man was very good and very quick to respond, which is good, but I still don’t know how you respectably give a customer rooms in this condition in the first place??

It was very useful being close for our hockey camp. It was hard to get everything together and out of the room as they couldn’t give us an extra hour extension to stay in our room as the camp wasn’t done till later but respected what was told to us. The bed hurt my back so didn’t sleep well unfortunately though. Overall great place to stay with great and helpful staff.
