very clean, always so nice.. and the front desk lady this morning was absolutely beautiful.

Asked a week in advance to cancel.as my travel plans changed. Super 8 and Expedia both said no. Beware

Room was freezing when first arrived. Elevator was broken. Room was mostly clean but very dated, especially bathroom. Bathroom needed a new shower curtain.

All of the above its always great at that hotel.

Major disappointment. Pool and hot tub and the pool area were too cold, chattering teeth cold! We called twice to confirm that all was working, it does not! The hotel is nice enough and clean, room was also fine. Shower water also not hot enough. Staff super friendly, and they know the pool is freezing, I feel bad for them. If only it was a great experience we might have come with the kids as regular trip as we live close by, such a shame.

Friendly staff, water slide and hot tub. My only gripes are that the hot tub was only about half full of water and a little foamy and the Breakfast was mediocre, they had bagels but no cream cheese. Thankfully there is a restaurant right next door, the butter chicken was dynamite!

Where to begin...? Myself, my daughter and granddaughter were booked for 3 nights starting Christmas day. We live only 30 minutes away, but wanted to relax and enjoy the pool as a nice get away for the holidays... So, the elevator was broken (ok, only on the 2nd floor, so i can ignore. The hot water in the room took about 5-10 minutes to get warm enough to shower, and by that time, the tub was filled ankle deep because the drain was so slow. Beds were not the best, but not the worst. Breakfast in the lobby was ok.. no butter/margarine for toast (only jams) Only small red apples for fruit.. very limited, but free so... ok. Now, the whole reason for being here: The pool room was freezing. The large slide turned off (have to find a maintenence person and ask for it to be turned on). So, we got changed and tried to enter the pool. It was freezing! (Think late may lake water) my 5 year old granddaughter was shivering after 5 minutes and i couldnt even stay in. The hot tub had sand in the bottom and had only one working jet at th3 bottom. (I know how to turn it on... it was definitely not working) So, extremely disappointed, we left the pool area and went to the lobby where i tried to tell the woman working there about the issues and was told, "no, the hot tub and pool were cleaned that day, so there wasnt sand in it", abd that "the jets definitely work, i must not be turning the knob", also... she would try to get someone to check the temperature. The "pool" is crap.

The staff was very courteous, helpful and happy. The room was clean. Breakfast waffles were great but perhaps more fruit offerings. Grandson loved the water slide but the pool could have been cleaner and warmer! The water was very chilly as was the entire pool area. Hot tub was good. We stayed in December 2023 and the pool water and area was much warmer. I would not recommend to friends to book in the winter now if they wanted a great pool experience. We booked for the theme room and pool experience. A little let down.

Water slide not working informed last minute, elevator not working. Extremely loud music being played from either another room or the resturant downstairs until 1:30 or later in the morning. Broken heaters in hallways with covers all smashed, some sort of brown (looked like fieces) spread on heater in hallway. Some white stuff all over walls and carpet. Will not suggest nor will ever stay in this motel again.

We have stayed at this hotel in Castlegar several times travelling back and forth to the lower mainland. This time it was a horrible stay. The elevator was broken and due to a disability I am unable to climb the flight of stairs needed to reach the upper floors where our room was situated. They put us in one of their theme rooms on the main level. The room was called the Coca Cola room. The ceilings were extremely high. It had two bunk bed and a queen bed. The only heater was in the room with the queen bed. We closed the door to try and keep the heat in and when we had to use the washroom we had to brave the cold of the other room. The room we slept in didn’t retain heat very well and the very noisy heater came on every 10 minutes to try and maintain some warmth. We sat in our clothes under the covers to just watch TV it was so cold. We brought an extra blanket from our car to put on the bed for extra warmth. The floors were venal flooring over cement and froze our feet if you didn’t wear shoes. Not comfortable when travelling all day. Washrooms in the lobby were out of order as well. This place is getting more and more run down and they are not repairing things timely. Wonbe staying here again!

The Heater / A/C was Noisey. And the hot water took awhile heat up. I was there 3 nights and Elevator was out of order and I was on 3rd floor

Everything here is run down and dirty. Rust all over the pool area, carpets stained and dirty in all areas, moldy fruit on on the breakfast offerings, broken facilities elevator and pool area, Mold under the door frames in the pool area. There does not seem to be a level of care going into this property. They should just tear it down.

Good place to stay

Room was okay BUT we were a non smoking room and we don’t expect or want someone elses smoke. At least 3 sessions of smoke thru our evening and bed time.Very annoying.

Hotel was average, Breakfast was minimal

Hotel was fine, no issues in quality of the stay. I was charged by both the hotel and Expedia for the stay which dropped my rating.

Quite rundown. Rooms show lots of wear and minimal upkeep. One nice mattress one terribly old mattress. Bathroom was clean but paint peeling, rust etc. The water slide was broken and pool was very cold. Breakfast was minimal, even for complimentary. Okay for a small town stay but I probably would choose another chain next time for a similar price.

The staff can barely speak English. The breakfast was moldy. The pool was dirty and slide didn’t work. The room was crowded. The bathroom had a lot of damage in it, and the shower curtain was broken.
