The parking was interesting to find in a safe area. But there was a mall parking lot next to the hotel.

The most outstanding feature of this property is their staff. They were courteous and considerate and even changed our room after we checked in because we did not like the originally assigned room mainly because of where it was situated. I think this is one of the cleanest hotel in its class that i have stayed at. The rooms are spacious clean. If i am ever back in Castlegar, i am definitely staying again.

Our experience was very nice. We had one of the themed rooms with pool access which was really nice. On the second day we had an issue with the toilet so the moved us to one of the other themed rooms for the rest of our stay. The Super Hero room and Harry Potter rooms were both a lot of fun for our kids. Made an especially fun stay. The breakfast was also great and had something for everyone. The highlight was the pool with the slide. Our kids couldn’t get enough and just went up and down over and over again. If you’re looking for a deep pool to swim and play, this is t it. It’s mostly a slide and a shallow area for toddlers. The hit top was good, but could have been hotter. I would say if we came back to Castlegar we would return. It was easy access to all the wonderful activities that were present in town and surrounding areas.

The room was clean with plenty of amenities however, I was unable to open a window and the heat pump sounded like a washing machine on permanent spin mode all night. The beds were clean and comfortable and more than adequate breakfast. Also, after a long days drive I was looking forward to the hot tub but it was closed for maintenance / repair.

It was a very poor experience. The entire time we were there the hot tub didn’t work, and the staff kept making up excuses… “it was just cleaned” “we just added water to it”. I finally got the truth from a staff member on the last day.. the pump was broken. The room we were put in had no windows to the outside, and no fresh air. The room was damp and mildewy. I had to empty their make-shift condensate bucket from the ductless split head myself, but not before it spilled water all over the carpet. The hot water didn’t work unless we ran the taps for 15 minutes before we wanted to have a shower. Very upsetting. I would have asked for a refund or discount, but because I paid through Expedia that was not an option.

Dated but for a night ok Only booked the place because of the pool/slide….unfortunately due too poor parenting and bad decisions made to bring a young child into the hot tub it was closed from 5 pm on….ugh offfered a late checkout but wanted to get home ..in hind sight should have taken it .. breakfast room so small had to wait 1 hr for the pancake machine cup line up.. just saying

Had to ask to have room cleaned at 3:00 in the afternoon after our first night stay on a 2 day stay! Noisy pipes that rattled all night long both nights. Had an extra $100 added to my bill when I checked my Visa charge for no reason! Would not stay here!!
