Very unique accommodation. Lots of great antiques to look at. Bead was comfortable shower head was fabulous. Breakfast was delicious. Room air was a bit stuffy because it is all old fabrics (drapes lamp shades carpet etc) but as long as we had the air conditioner running pulling in fresh air from outside it was ok

Interesting old hotel and great breakfast included in the price. The room (Judges room) was small and the tiny bathroom did not have a door, just a curtain. There wasn’t a window covering in the bathroom, which looked out onto rooms in the adjacent building.

Not quite what I expected. The hotel is very quaint, historic and rustic. The included breakfast is good, however, the restaurant is closed on Mondays so you are out of luck if you are staying on a Monday. You can ask for a bagged breakfast, but it wasn't the greatest. There isn't much in the area, as it is the old part of the city.

Good bed, able to watch the World Cup on TV in the room.
Breakfast was at 9 and we had to catch the water taxi; there were no grab and go breakfast items as indicated which would have helped our timeline.
Steps and parking challenging for older adults.

Overall positive experience. Check in was a bit confusing as the sign upstairs said to check in at the cafe downstairs, but the cafe was closed and the sign downstairs said to check in upstairs. I loved the included full breakfast, but note that it’s only available after 9am. We left early the second day and checked out the utility room that we were told had some breakfast items for earlier departures, however it was completely empty of all food items so either a guest got greedy or maybe it hadn’t been restocked? The fridge and pantries were all empty. My dog was welcome at both the hotel and cafe, however he got spooked at the door of the room initially. We joked that it was probably haunted and he sensed something. Lovely place overall, just a few things to keep in mind.

The hotel was was quirky in a wonderful way with a lot of collectibles and antiques thoughtfully arranged around the property. Our bed was very comfortable. This is a personal preference, I did not enjoy checking in by using the ring camera. I felt like I was bothering the staff member. In our room, the coffee pods had been previously used improperly and the sugars and creamers were old. The amenities room was not very clean and did not have any coffee pods I could get instead of the ones in our room. Our breakfast in the hotel was delicious and our waitress was very kind.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Many thoughtful touches. The property was in good repair. Thoroughly pleasant and fun stay. Reminds you of a bygone era with all its pros and cons.

I loved the history of the building and all of the antiques. The breakfasts were excellent. The only disappointment was that Room 4 was supposed to be set up for early risers like me. Breakfast starts at 9 and I am often awake by 5:30. Room 4 did not have fruit or muffins as noted on the hotel card in our room. In fact it was in complete disarray with only a kettle and a few tea bags. Also could use instructions for TV. All in all enjoyed the stay

This is a character stay and did not disappoint. It was clean, quirky, and the location was fantastic. Our room was #10 and it was spacious for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner was efficient and quiet. The made to order breakfast was exceptional. We would stay again.
